When I mentioned Frisco I did so because they have about 5 billion in construction coming between 121 and Main Street. (Cowboys Alley, Wade Park, The Gate, ect.) Frisco city council isn't small minded. Denton city council is. Nobody is saying change Denton but damn if they aren't dense economically speaking. Its not a Denton vs Frisco argument. I've lived in both and both have their ups and downs. Actually, I've lived in real dumps before and most of y'all sound like pompous pricks arguing over two nice places. Really I just wish they'd build a cool hotel on the hill because that area would have really been something. Especially on game day. Oh well, typical Denton being short sided and anti UNT. I wish UNT could proceed with something like the original idea without partnering with the city. Oh, and I guess the season is pretty much over because y'all are Internet arguing about stupid nonsense.

The Utah State game was the last game that year and was very exciting. However, beating Tech in Lubbock that same season felt pretty damn good. Both were great wins.

Denton should look at what Frisco's city council is doing. They are doing an awesome job for Frisco. These council members in Denton are small minded and not looking ahead to make Denton a better place. Sad.

The first post reminds me of a guy in the stands that wants everyone to hear his resume. Summation: Mac knows his team and Dads at fences are bad. I kid I kid... The team will bounce back. We just need to beat UTEP. I don't want to travel all the way out there for a loss and possibly be beaten by a fat mob outside the stadium. Yes, there are fights outside the Sun bowl for those who don't know. Deadspin has a good one on video.

The thread title is good but I always ask myself why UNT can't get its act together as a program in general. The last few years infrastructure and student support is much much better but this product is unacceptable.

He's a good coach but we're having a bad season.

It's already fallen apart. There was zero emotion on that bench. They are going through the motions. The season appears to be a bust. I doubt we win again this year. I'm sad.

If he gives us the best chance to win I say give him a go. I think DW will eventually be the QB long term but maybe not this season. Win!

The part of it that is the most disturbing to me is the players are going to turn on him. I saw it happen first hand with Simon. DMac's statements will translate to the players as my players suck. I promise y'all some of the players are already saying f him privately to each other. If he's going to say this is harder than I thought and my current players suck then they'll stop playing for him. Especially the seniors who know they only have a month or two left. Expect the guys to stop caring and just wanting this season to be over. It's sad but it's reality. I've been in those players shoes and they hear every word he says. Negativity is infectious in a locker room when you're in this position. This is bad leadership and DMac knows better.

It sounds like he's making excuses before the season is even over. Maybe they see the writing on the wall that the season is doomed. Who knows. Whatever. The players will hear every word he said. Hell, recruits may as well. If they are going to make excuses publicly then at least it tells me why the players quit playing hard last week. One thing I've never really seen UNT do in my 21 years following UNT is lay down the way they did Saturday. And those were some brutal 21 years of football to follow. I don't even know what to think about the state of the program now.

Mac isn't our worst coach. Simon ran the swinging gate at LSU. That's all I have to say.
