I don't see how Army couldn't be at the top of this vote. They are a college football staple. It's a great institution on all fronts. Totally classy organization with great history and respected by everyone.

I don't see how 4 home games is possible. Regardless of UAB dropping football, someone needs to be held accountable for such nonsense if it happens. Especially since the university built a nice new stadium. If we have only 4 home games to include 2 FCS teams then I'll see y'all in 2016 because next season is a wash. (After wasting money on the El Paso trip and witnessing that beat down first hand I sure can't stomach paying to go to places like Tennessee when we will most likely get killed on most of the 8 road games.) Awful schedule if true. Please tell me this isn't true.

No matter what it is its a big deal. Full scholarship football players don't just miss a game for no reason.

I agree we may need a new OC. Or at best the offensive coaches need to go back to the drawing board on what they value as QB talent. The current situation is unacceptable with the HS talent around here. Plus, these players make really stupid decisions on the feild. That's coaching in general. Mac has had years to recruit and the product is bad. I don't care when he says it's harder than he thought either.

I must say this season was embarrassing and I'm glad it's over. We were out coached and out played in every aspect of the game on all fronts most of season. I guess 2013 was a fluke. We have a bad program right now. I'm depressed. Next season may be worse with the guys leaving. I hope recruiting is better than many predict. Damn...

It speaks volumes to me about the status of the program when he'd throw in the towel before the end of the season. (Unless he told Mac and the players before the season started.) Very sad departure no matter what.

I think the killer for me is I flew out for the game tonight. The UTEP fans were extremely classless but that's typical El Paso. The exemption was an older gentleman in line tapped me on the shoulder and thanked me for coming to EP for the game. Outside of that they were trashy and beers were $10 in the stadium. Jerry World is cheaper. Unreal. In the end it was an embarrassing performance out of our team. The players didn't seem too concerned either. Celebration after plays when you are being humiliated? Seriously? There were guys smiling in the fourth. Damn...

I think he's done better than any AD we've ever had and he's done it with resistance. I think he's done well. Sure things could be better but it could be a whole lot worse. Plus, I think the culture in Denton is changing. Students are supporting sports now and that's a big change. I'd like to think the AD had something to do with changing the culture.

I think we win. UTEP is garbage. Just because they beat NMSU, UNM, OD doesn't make them good. If we play like last week, we win. If we play like SM, we lose.

I hope we win the next three. That would be a great turn around.

The Dome bar isn't family friendly but the Riviera is absolutely family friendly.

The Dome bar in the Camino Real is very cool. The hotel needs upgrades but the bar is great. The bar at the Riviera is cool too. Local dive. Great food too.

I think it's funny that so many here have some sort of fetish with Frisco. CNN lists Frisco in its top places to live in the US and Forbes lists it as one of its top places to move in the US. What's your point? Why is Frisco being juxtaposed with Denton? Polar opposites. (And I know this conversation is being rehashed because the idiotic anti UNT city council conversation) I've lived in both cities and both are nice. I've also lived in sh$tholes and y'all sound like morons bashing the two cities. Both sides of this stupid comparison. I agree with the folks saying Denton really needs to clean up the I35 area. The city needs to invest in itself.

Absolutely not. Their program is in shambles. They need to go FCS. NMSU could care less about football. Besides, UNT doesn't need to fly into El Paso twice a year.
