That's how I felt in the early 90s. The BB team wasn't far removed from the 88 season and we were headed back the D1 in football and that fizzled out quickly.

I agree with #classactionantitrustlawsuit Plus, in the spirit of me being angry about my taxes. Open up taxation on college sports and especially the lucrative bowl system.

Sadly, that 9-4 season seems to be a fluke...

We'd have to produce much much much better schedules. There's been so many positive steps forward for UNT athletics but there have been several steps back lately. Scheduling is a problem. The Army & SMU series are really great but the 5 home games with one being Portland is just sad. The whole lack of winning thing hurts too.

People who were in or are in fraternities or sororities know how fun it was or is and what they actully do. The hatred of these organizations is nothing new. Maybe because fraternities and sororities get to pick who they want to join? Maybe because they don't make public everything they do? I do know people view them as a bunch of white guys conspiring to do harm to minorities and women. Or they saw Animal House and all the knock offs to many times? These views are ignorant and laughable. Hell, my wife is in junior league and I love the stereotypes you hear around that. ANY organization anywhere will have people doing outlandish stuff. At any walk in life too. I'll always be glad I joined Phi Kap. If people don't like these organizations then stop paying attention to them. Pretty simple.

People are a little harsh on fraternities these days. These are good organizations that are good for their members. Sure, drunk college students do dumb stuff. That's not exclusive to fraternities.

They should have added as a positive that the QB situation cannot possibly be worse than last year. The Texas game was a nightmare. I've never seen such garbage stats.

I guess the numbers don't lie. CUSA is is basically Sunbelt 2.0 and we aren't competitive in either.

I agree. The team was already set up for failure. But then again I'm tired of North Texas excuses for losing every chance we get. It's getting old...

I'm starting to think the naysayers might be right about RV's inability to schedule good programs. Army and SMU are great but outside of that it's pretty awful. UNT has the facilities and location. There are no excuses left.
