The vast deserts of Gonzalez were impressive too. I road through Gonzalez on the Shiner GASP (Great Austin to Shiner Pedal) recently and barely made it through that desert and the damn mountains almost killed me. There was no Army to defeat Mexico either, only a couple early Rangers. Like the great Warrior Chief Brendan Frazier who wielded a bow and arrow instead of silly guns. This show is amazing. It's like the guys who made Team America made a movie about the Bin Laden raid. Instant classic...

UNT revenue sports are traditionally pathetic and teams like Soccer actually win year in and year out. You are also missing the point of college athletics, they are suppose to be in place to enhance the education of the actual students. Revenue sports, coaches, fans, the NCAA, and universities forgot that long ago. I'd rather take my girls to a UNT Soccer game rather than a UNT football game any day of the week because they have way more fun and they actually win against teams like OU, Baylor, TCU ect. They are not irrelevant at all. Very opposite from my favorite football team. And big picture you say? If that's the metric then our revenue sports are seriously irrelevant.

Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner. I barely made it to my commencement around lunch time and wouldn't have gone had my mom and girlfriend made me go. Damn sure wouldn't have gone to a second because it was party time. It's pretty dumb to have multiple graduations and also inviting a big name speaker to the later event.

UNT can't expect big numbers in this department because the product is bad and people will find other stuff to do on a Saturday in DFW. Especially when they bring in juggernauts like Portland State. Half my buddies don't want to attend that pillow fight and I can't blame them a bit. Add so few home games, one on a Thursday night, and a 1AA team for Homecoming and people aren't flocking to the games. Moreover, UNT is painful to watch. They gut me weekly every Fall year after year.

I pray out of the 25 QBs we can find 1 quality player. Last year was so pathetic. The UT game was an embarrassment.

Please no. It's pathetic that we are playing them for Homecoming. So few home games is sad enough and then adding them for Homecoming is just sad.

Sorry, Miami is awful. That has nothing to do with the university or the beaches either. Florida is a great state. Just not Miami. But you are right, UNT needs to spend money if it wants to be a better program.

TCU made a commitment to be elite in athletics. UNT hasn't and probably won't make a commitment towards elite athletics. Hell, TCU was almost the National Champions in football last year minus a severe boning at the end Of the season. Anyway, sadly, UAB cut football and they have to go. They'd kick us out if we did the same.

I'd enjoy that. I disagree with him on a lot of things but he's a intelligent funny guy. I don't care about people's politics or beliefs if they're good people.

Why the hell can't we recruit a QB? I'm sorry but this product is a disaster. If it's anything near the performance at QB a season ago then we are in real trouble again.
