That's a good idea. I'd do the fly over myself but I'd rather be in the stands than sweating in a small plane wishing I was at the game. When I was a flight instructor I use to do touch and goes in Denton and could see games at Fouts. I always wished I was at the game.

We better bring more fans than Baylor. UNT has 36,000 students and Baylor has 16,000. UNT is actually part of the metroplex and Waco isn't. I have no clue what the numbers are but our alumni base in the metroplex undoubtedly dwarfs Baylor's alumni base in the metroplex. Baylor is a really good team so they'll get people watching them in droves but I think we have to have more numbers than them at this particular game.

Come on y'all! If you're all growed up then you can figure out how to safely get to a game and back without taking a kids seat on a school bus. My friends and I will be getting a hotel down there, drinking too much, and making bad decisions without a vehicle to get me in trouble.

Anyone ever recall or notice the navy blue stripes outside the white middle stripe on the helmets in the mid 90s? Awful but very hard to see.

If these players want to be considered employees then all of the compensation & benefits should be taxed. If they want to be treated like big boys, then let them be treated as such. Tuition, books, fees, room & board, cost of attendance, and tutors should all be taxable. In addition, they should all be excluded from any type of grant such as a Pell Grant. They use to encourage all players to apply for grants when I played. I agree with players getting a little help financially but to unionize is outrageous. Employees my a$$. Next thing they'll want is retirement. This is stupid.

I don't think your an ass hat, I think your really good at ruffling feathers and it makes me laugh. I know football really well too. Preseason predictions are stupid. Most of the time no one knows exactly what they have until a few games are played. You can take an educated guess but no one can predict injuries or players maturing ect. If we get better play at QB and stay healthy we ain't gonna be 3-9. If we get last years BS, then the season is a disaster.
