    So I should have my children miss Trick or Treating to go to an empty stadium with no Halloween events to watch another potential blowout while the AD passes the buck and says we the fans suck for not showing up to watch his horrid product? It's not an excuse. It's a choice. The only thing I'll miss is the banner. I'd enjoy that.

    You are assuming Portland State is a heartless & leaderless team. They aren't. We can't always make that claim anymore after our team quit. Y'all can give me thumbs down all night but the fact remains they made a mockery of our team and could have scored 100. They are way better than us in every aspect of the game.

    RV sucks at scheduling. He lied about getting better teams here. Underwhelming as usual. If he had any balls he would have called Portland State for a game up there and try to win back the money UNT paid them to embarrass us. RV sucks as an AD.

    RV is now a liar on top of a bad athletic director who can't schedule, hire, or keep his promises. Numbers don't lie. I won't be going to anymore UNT football or basketball games until he's gone. He openly hates this fanbase. That's us y'all. He has zero respect for the students, alumni, student athletes, fans, and the community.

    One thing is obvious, he plays players that give him the best chance to win. If D Smith was our QB day 1, we beat SMU but I don't know what happens from there.

    The author is spot on. They'd kill us right now but it would be better for us than, Lamar, Abilene Christian, Liberty, or annihilation by Portland State. Our AD won't have it though.

    Actually nothing should scare this team. The season is over and we will most likely get stomped by everyone left so there's really nothing to fear. I guess we should fear being embarrassed but they gave up and got annihilated by an FCS team so it's too late to avoid embarrassment. Hopefully, the season ends quickly with no more injuries. But we still have Tennessee for further humiliation of the university on a bigger stage.
