All that stuck out after watching that clip was an unoriginal running back copying Zeke Elliott after not scoring. Maybe next week he'll do the Icky Shuffle after not scoring on a not that swell run.

Special teams was not good tonight. The punt return team was shaking and not just the idiotic drop that should have never been touched. The blockers had little situation awareness as to where all those terrible punts were. Our longsnapper needs to get that ball down in a big way. Too many dropped balls by receivers. The D better expect long balls next week after getting smoked tonight on a few.

The fall of Baylor began when sexual assaults and coaches/administrators turned a blind eye. Just a question of how far they fall and for how long.

I'm glad they made it safely.

I'm willing to bet our band could learn that sound in a couple minutes if they wanted. It would be a nice gesture.

It's a tough sell. UNT did their best for a long time to make Letterman unwelcome. Most guys I know are interested in the Football Club but not the Letterman's association. (But that's only for ex players, coaches, trainers, equipment managers.)

Beat the sh$t out of them as a tune up for the severe a$$ kicking we deal out week 2.

Actually if you look at who UNT played you'd understand why it was a rough year. When you have Missouri, Kansas, LSU, Alabama, Louisville, OU to name a few on your schedule you aren't winning many. Oregan State fired their coach after we beat them. I can't remember a time when UNT had a harder season. If I remember correctly they said we had the 5th hardest schedule in division 1 as far as strength of schedule goes for that season. It was stupid to sacrifice that team for all money games.

I found this old North Texas game day t-shirt a while back and forgot to post it. It made me laugh. It wouldn't fly in today's PC world but I don't care. It was against Oregon State right after our return to Division 1. We also won that game. Anyway, enjoy...

Drink a lot of beer and be loud! Also, start with not listening to the negativity. A lot of the hard core fans here have been waiting for the program to turn the corner for ages. I'm one of them too. But things are looking up for the first time in a long time.

It's truly not football season when y'all are arguing about another school's recruiting. I personally couldn't care less how another school recruits because projections are absurd.

It won't haunt us, it's one player. We have better coaches/recruiters on our staff now. Someone needs to pat this guy on the butt and tell him it will be alright. It sounds like he's mad he didn't get offered by us and he's mad he's attending school at UTSA. My take anyway because I seem to remember him complaining in the past. He's also wrong. Players and coaches don't solely make a rivalry. Coaches come and go. So do players. How many ex coaches and players come on here and rant about how much they hate the 1977 SMU team? (Or plug in your own year or team from last century) That's just one example but seriously, how many current coaches and players were on the team in 2013 when they beat us on the cold night? Anyway, just beat their a$$es this year and maybe 5 or 6 more if all goes well. I think if anyone in our conference is currently fed up with us it has to be Rice. My thoughts anyway.

University of North Texas is the name of our school. I tell people I went to North Texas and they know what im talking about. People equally know UNT is North Texas. I don't see it as a big issue. They are interchangeable.

Here was one major problem from last year: I had to buy extra tickets for the opener at Apogee last year and it was nuclear hot on the west side of the stadium in line around massive lines. People were leaving, saying screw it, because they were miserable in line. Many of which had kids begging to leave because the athletic department dropped the ball so badly. The people just walked off. Including the family I bought tickets for. People couldn't even get in until the 2nd quarter anyway. Fix problems like this before we worry about tailgaters who probably have tickets missing kickoff.

Attendance massively declined after the HOD win because the team all but quit the following season. We haven't consistently won really ever. Sporadically, we have played well from time to time. Until the new stadium UNT played in a cricket infested dump that wasn't as nice as most area high school stadiums. Attendance has been better since we got the new stadium, however, our record isn't much better nor are our opponents barring a few exceptions. Bring in better opponents and have winning records and everyone will stop worrying about tailgaters and fraternities. At least they are there so good on them. The product needs to sell itself and it hasn't done that. The University seems to care for once so let's see where it goes. Totally agree with you here.

I agree. The Band has a nice ring to it. I don't really get the entire need for mottos. Additionally, if they are looking for an update, how about ditching both the khakis with Ts and polyester uniforms and stick with one that won't look like they forgot the uniforms or the other that melts people inside of them. Maybe ask Nike to make them something. They'll slap the swoosh on anything with a market.
