Has any coach in modern history ever moved up as a great career move from their eventual resignation, or retirement from UTEP? If I'm Graham Harrell that's my question. He could do better for himself if he waits a little longer. My thoughts anyway.

You are reading reactions on GMG to your school's over evolved sense of greatness. Over there it sounds like the G5 Aggies. Never won crap but the chest pounding is endless. But it could be good for us! Dirt in the mouth, eyes, and ears isn't awesome? Spot on about it being in the secluded. That is one of the worst parts about living there. That's also another reason recruiting tough. The city and school are a hard sell, then add being in the middle of nowhere with overpriced airfare or a 9 to 10 hour drive from the rest of the state. There's no easy fix there. The city itself has a hard time trying to stop educated & talented people from fleeing elsewhere.

Chicos is absolutely disgusting. After being away a few years the Mexican food isn't all that anymore. For me anyway. I use to love it, now I view it as fat, greasy, and over spiced. But that's just my opinion. My wife feels the same though and she use to love it. I have great memories of EP but its all in the rear view. I don't plan on ever going back again and I won't miss it. UTEP is smart for trying to hide the optics of EP because everyone I know is taken back the first time they see it. The best reaction I heard was my friend who said, "It's like they got halfway done and said awe F--- it...".

Recruiting EP & UTEP is damn near impossible. I'm from EP. That said, it's just a bad sell. School is terrible and the town is too. Locals love it but everyone else doesn't. Success as a coach there is almost unattainable. Those coaches are good at their job but they just don't have the players to do it. At the end of the day, I hope we hang a 100 on them on Homecoming. After going there to watch UNT play I wish UTEP, EP, and their classless fan base nothing but sports misery. I hope everyone pours it on them.

How's that a fall? He's getting playing time, travelling, and special teams is fun. There's a lot of players that don't even get close to that opportunity, ever, at every position.

They? When I read the post it was he. One dude. But let's be honest, even if he can't be, Southern Miss isn't some power house, nor are we. If we show up, then it could go either way. Just like most games it will come down to turn overs, mistakes, big plays, penalty yardage, ect. Our two losses came with several mistakes, penalties, and getting torched deep so it all depends on what UNT team plays Saturday night.

Please don't speak of the Dodge Era.

Too bad we couldn't of had Sergio Dipp butcher the segment then he could go on Twitter and blame everyone but himself for doing his job poorly. ESPN fired anyone with talent and also has tried to drag their bs into our sports. They are a joke now.

I'll repeat it for the third week, our special teams is really unacceptable in all facits of it.

Does OU do this as well? We were trying to figure out how so many kids from DFW go there. It's not far, I get that but it's not far but out if state tuition is huge money.

I've noticed a trend. My wife is a teacher and she and her friends said places like Arkansas and OU (especially Arkansas) are doing a great job luring kids out if Texas by basically giving in state tuition for good students. A couple kids in my neighborhood are prime examples of this trend.

Statistically we are going to be 1-2 Sunday with great passing numbers and the nation's leader in dropped punts. Normally I'm not down on numbers but we can't stop even Lamar from torching us deep. It's going to keep being exploited. We can't pass our way out of poor Special Teams and a Defense that can't stop big plays.

I hope they bench our punt returners and put in anyone who can catch or just get away from the ball.

Honestly, who cares what their tiny fan base says online? I guarantee their players and coaches aren't blowing off their first real game. (SFA wasn't a real challenge for them just like Lamar wasn't for us.)

I think much of this was cut and pasted from former DRC articles. Yawn. Nothing to see here. I'd like to see an actual story on that.
