Special Teams as a whole failed entirely. So we lost 1/3 of the game. They were sloppy and played like they have never been coached before. I'd say the entire team played sloppy in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th quarters.

32-24 UNT Edit: for the million down votes coming, Tennessee only scored 24, UTSA scored 30, and they are improving. They have curbed stomped us in EP the last couple times too.

You'll have to fight this guy or challenge him to feats of strength no matter what. There's parking access on Mesa (Main drag near UTEP) by the basketball stadium and also around Cincinnati and Mesa. Both are short walks but Cincinnati has bars and restaurants.

Carlos and Mickey's is okay. Its where they tell everyone to go from out of town. L&Js by the Concordia Cemetery is a cool place for drinks and good food. The Dome bar downtown is good too. If you have to time, hit Chopes on highway 28 between Cruces and the westside of EP. Great dive bar with great food. Its not far from Old Mesilla which is a cool place to check out. If you want a steak Cattlemen's in Fabens. Its a ways out there though. Pre-game if you don't tailgate, Cincinnati Street is where I go to eat and drink. My favorite restaurant is the Riviera on Doniphan. Great food and really cool little dive bar. Acietunas beer garden is in the same parking lot so its win win.

I wanted to go. Its home. Kids... If you or anyone else need a heads up up on cool places to go, let me know. Also, for anyone going, there will be plenty of seats. You'll want to sit on the press box side. The people are way nicer. (Season ticket side) Seating isn't going to be an issue. The other side was a bit miserable last time I watched us play there.

We were sloppy and unprepared. La Tech was the opposite. Our special teams were bad, we turned it over, and we kept getting penalized.

Not trolling. Its honesty. Im from EP and UTEP is garbage. We just arent competing for anything now.

How? We'll be bowl eligible. We won't win the conference. So, its realistic to assume we will play in one of CUSA's lackluster bowls. Maybe we can keep it close with a Sunbelt team.

Does it really matter if if kick the crap put of UTEP? They are a garbage team and university. Our season is over. No conference championship but we'll get some garbage bowl and probably get blown out by some Sunbelt team again.

We have a great school, people, and facilities but if we win every game or lose every game, it's all meaningless. We could have been undefeated and still would be playing at a run down crappy HOD bowl. College football is starting to lose me because our games are exciting but meaningless. Oh well, at least I cancelled my trip to El Paso next week.

What bowl will we play in since we won't be competing for the conference championship? Sucks with all the hype but we aren't in the drivers seat anymore. Such is the life of G5 teams. Undefeated would have earned us the HOD bowl anyway I guess.

Not necessarily thst far off. He's probably telling them where we are strong and where they need to isolate. He's absolutely telling them this game is for the CUSA West and how they can spoil our season. At the end of the day, we could win every game on our schedule. Its totally up to our team at this point. They are in the driver's seat.

Or we could go to somewhere like Shreveport and play someone like Florida State like Southern Miss did last year. There's zero foregone conclusion we are winning this conference. I'd hate to see us win our conference and play UNLV with their 20 fans. Or UTAH and their couple hundred.

I agree we are better, but unstoppable? We have momentum.

Agree with both of these. If we went to the HOD they'd bring in some MWC or MAC type team that brings in 500 people. That bowl isn't going to exist much longer from the sound of it. Im happy whenever we go to bowl but we can do better on a season like this.
