It would relegate us to D1aa. If it happened I would want a rule that P5 and G5 could never play each other. This is ESPN's invention. P5 G5 that is. They basically only want Alabama to win. Maybe make it like Soccer. You can be P5 but if you don't prrform you drop to G5 and teams could who perform at the G5 could move. However, that would never fly with the way things are.

The league thought an 8:30 pm kickoff the week before Thanksgiving was a swell idea. Ok. Whatever. Right away omit kids, their parents who need to get them to school. Omit casual fans who have jobs. Omit out of towners who generally come in town for games but aren't going to use vacation time, especially before the holidays, to watch football. After all that, I'm not going to bother mentioning the angry fans that are gutted by the team falling apart of late. Bottom line, even if we were still undefeated or in contention for the CUSA West the numbers would be lower than usual. (I'm still in but I'm still dumbfounded after Saturday. My goodness that was ridiculous and embarrassing.)

Better go 38-0 in the second. Safety first...

I have a feeling our stadium will llok bad Thursday. Our team has kind of imploded, Thursdays are bad for a lot of people, late kick off, and it could be miserable outside.

I don't have a problem with the matchup. Troy was much more than we could handle and they are Sunbelt. I can't speak for the area though.

My guess is they aren't really worried after curb stomping us twice last season then watching film of last week and a few of our meltdowns. Looking past us would be good. Hopefully the oline will do better.

This game should never be viewed by the public again.

I played for UNT at his age. I never once in 4 years saw a player throw a fit and make physical contact with a referee that resulted in a penalty. He knows better. He screwed up massively and hurt his team. Pretty pathetic from my perspective. The coaches have probably dealt with his behavior and they won't publicly discuss it. Every player knows how to behave and he has to be accountable.

Good for UAB. They deserve it. Hopefully they can take down A&M this week. This isn't us because we can't beat teams when we need to. Mostly because our team lacks discipline, makes poor choices on the field, and doesn't compete for 4 quarters.

Did he throw a fit, get a second 15 yard personal foul, gift them 3 points, totally shift the momentum, and we subsequently lost by 3? That might need to be addressed. If he were truly operating at the high level he claims then he would have showed an ounce of discipline.

I get it. I've been a fan through thick and thin. I know how bad it sucked as a player to play in an empty Fouts and other students or professors being dicks to me just for being on the team. (90s) However, there have been times when I wished I didn't waste time and money to watch us lose in epic fashion. I'll still muster it up Thursday and drink a lot of beer but I get so angry after games like yesterday. I chalk that one up there with Portland State. PS is way worse but yesterday is on the list. I felt ill watching that last catch inside our 5.

I was going to make a fun trip out of San Antonio. It's canceled now.

As a long time NT fan, there have been games when literally the worst thing I did was show up.

They may have been drunk or something but they did finish the game. Thats more than we can say for our team.

Pretty spot on. I'd add something no one is talking about, this team isn't as well conditioned as some of our opponents. That's part of the reason we can't keep intensity up. ODU was still moving full speed and our team couldn't keep up. That, and they knew there are 4 quarters in college football games, not 1.85 quarters.
