I remember when we were the Mean GREEN. It seems like we are black, grey, or silver reflective helmets. Our all white with green numbers are awesome road uniforms. They are sharp looking.

I'm with you. That award may have been easier if Fine wasn't running for his life back there. He has messed up trying to force some plays but some of that stems from the blocking issues. Not sure the criteria but there is no conspiracy against UNT.

FAU crushed us twice last season and had like 3,000 people watch. Troy did the same to us in the bowl. La Tech beat us on the road. UAB did it in front of a small crowd. ODU embarrassed us in front of a small crowd. What's UNT's excuse? Fan support? Come on. UNT is getting better support than most CUSA teams. Somehow we have 24 conference championships and did so with terrible turnout historically. The current team doesn't play 4 quarters and that has nothing to do with fans.

Will they wear it well for 4 quarters?

The real question you should consider is not his records or your expectations of fans but when is the last time Fine or anyone else out on that field won when it counted? Records are swell. Beating beatable opponents when it matters, Conference championships or a bowl win? Not so much. I want to see this team exel. Good season but not great. The fans are showing up. That's their job, not reaching potential. That's the job of coaches, players, and the athletic department.

Totally agree. Vito asked a question. Fine answered. Fine probably should pay better attention to coach speak. Coaches are great at not answering questions. However, Vito could have asked a follow up question or elaborated on the original one. If he can graduate this Summer then it changes the entire question and answer. The way it was written, plus the title, could have been executed better. Vito did his job, Fine needs to learn from this. If you're wife asks you if she looks fat in an outfit, you don't say yes...

That would be my guess. I didn't think Vito described the situation very well. He should have said, due to blank, blank and blank, have you considered using your last year of eligibility elsewhere. If so, where?

The optics are really bad. I would understand it if someone took his job or something. But there will be people now who will think less of him because of this. People can say players should look out for themselves. I understand. On the flip side, 1 FBS team gave him an offer, he has started 3 seasons and considered transferring and sitting out a year to do it? That's really bizarre. Did something happen? Is he doing poorly in school or homesick? I get he chose to stay but its really strange. I know when I was playing players would have asked him wtf. Jokingly at least. The statement is kind of out of left field and odd. Oh well, seems like off season talk.

Gotta say it probably wasn't smart for him to mention he was thinking about it. I would have kept that one to myself. Especially when people talk about him being a great ambassador for UNT...

I know who owns it. But that's kind of like saying a Lexus is just a Toyota. Or the Texans name is owned by Jerry (or was) so they are basically part of the Cowboys or Jerry's craziness. Just not the same.

We will play in Dallas on the 26th. My money is on that anyways.

Market Street, Central Market, and Whole Foods are far superior. Gauntlet has been thrown down. I almost threw Fiesta to make it interesting!

It would relegate us to D1aa. If it happened I would want a rule that P5 and G5 could never play each other. This is ESPN's invention. P5 G5 that is. They basically only want Alabama to win. Maybe make it like Soccer. You can be P5 but if you don't prrform you drop to G5 and teams could who perform at the G5 could move. However, that would never fly with the way things are.

Fine was lucky to make it this far. He has taken a hell of a beating. Damn shame.
