Coaches are part of the team and surely didn't do a good job. I think the players have plenty of blame. The o-line couldn't protect the QB or block well for RBs. The Defense was, well, pathetic all around. Special Teams was pretty bad as well. Rice saw a lot of NT quitting. Summed up an all around failure for me.

All I know is its thankfully over Saturday. Awful team this year.

Oh definitely. I'm all for the on campus facility. You have got to practice after class. Plus its right there with the rest of the teams, trainers, and athletic dorms. Hopefully they build the new basketball facility on the hill like they spoke about a while back.

Seeing that we are opening a campus in Frisco and the PGA HQ is moving to Frisco and building 2 18 hole courses and a 9 hole technical course. Why not associate with the PGA similiar to what FISD is doing and the way we do with the Star and Cowboys? Couldn't hurt recruiting, the campus will be right across the DNT, obviously the PGA facilities will be amazing, and the exposure would be great.

Students like to protest. But screw them if they are trying to stop the golf facility. What was the swipe at golf about?

I'm in the same boat. This might be my 3rd Soccer game by noon Sunday. I'm gonna have to navigate this perfect to get there in time.

Not only does this team not deserve a bowl but I hope we don't go to one. Going to NM, New Orleans, or wherever and embarrassing the university does nothing for the school, athletic department, recruiting, ect. The last couple bowls, and I include the conference championship, have only embarrassed our school. This current group can only beat really bad teams and no one when it counts.

I read it as I don't think they are that good. They are what they are basically. He isn't going to come out and say we suck or gurantee a win but he isn't planning on losing.

I honestly think its one of the worst ideas on here. He is good but its not like he won the Heisman or is in the NFL Hall of Fame like Joe Greene. There is simply no comparison as the two aren't in the same league and never will be. If we really want to be honest, what big games has he won? When it really counted NT has failed while he started. He didn't win a conference title, a bowl, and probably won't even compete in a bowl as a senior. So please no. Just no. This is the mediocre NT stuff that drives me crazy.

They threw out compliments and said he has the most TDs of any current QB. Commentator picked him as his player of the week.

Why does anyone here care about SMU? I don't unless we are playing them. I see it as a bigger problem that we could be 8-0 and wouldn't make the top 20 because of our conference. I'll be happy for a bowl this year.

His numbers are the best but I still think Mitch Maher was our best QB. In my humble opinion.

Same here. Don't really care. I knew the year would be bad once ACU starting scoring but last weekend's 4th quarter drubbing did it for me.

If we win one game annually, this is it. I know or am related to way to many UTEP graduates. Thankfully this guy's dad told him to avoid attending his own former Texas Western in favor of North Texas where I wanted to go anyway. It was an easy decision... Played ball 4 years and my Mrs. did the same in soccer. Anyway, screw UTEP. Especially after blowing us out when we needed that 6th win. Blow them out Saturday.

We are just flat out not a good team. NT better understand why the stands are empty and when the players look around at the emptiness they need to understand its 100 percent their fault. You don't lose like they did yesterday. They quit.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we aren't bowl eligible. La Tech will destroy us and after what I saw yesterday. Basically a team with no heart, urgency, or will to win, its going to get worse. UTEP's coaches will exploit our terrible defense next weekend. Even, ACU figured out our D in the end. Our special teams and o-line are bad too.

I actually thought it was better than a lot of the TV show. I was one who thought Breaking Bad was a bit underwhelming.
