Not at all. Just disagreeing from experience with part of what you said. I too don't want kids to get sent home either.

State Department doesn't enforce much on the visa overstay side. Diplomatic Security is small and mostly overseas. DHS actually does more of the enforcement domestically and its rampant. Not trying to be argumentative or enter into a debate but to offer a pro tip that DHS does little to curb illegal immigration nor committed to public safety is sadly not accurate at all. The general public is massively uninformed as to what federal agencies actually do and what actually goes on that they will never see or hear about. Hopefully this unfortunate short term issue with students is quickly resolved and not punitive. I'd hate to see a kid honestly going to school get hurt by this mess we are all in that is 2020.

They'd probably do what they are doing right now. Players and coaches inside on the fields and everyone else in the parking lots. I spend a lot of time there daily. I actually think they'd put giant screens out in the parking lots. Don't forget, especially if we went there, no matter what we would be the home team. UNT is opening the Frisco campus in the very near future. Frisco would roll out the red carpet. They would probably also get some going at the Star too.

Not all news is bad. Frisco Bowl extended and has ties to CUSA and several others. Wouldn't mind seeing us playing there some day. Glad we aren't in the middle of building any big athletic facilities. Those were just finished. That being said since universities charge outlandish prices now and semesters are online, they need to drop prices.

Yes. I am sure. 2019 is one year and one sport. We left for a reason. Better conference, better contracts, better for all sports, better perception. Our AD even acknowledges it as a step backwards. I agree. Our university has invested in sports massively of late and it would be a shame for that to go to waste with poor choices like our past. Had we invested in sports and facilities earlier we probably would have never been in the belt.

I seem to remember some issues following that.

I'm offended by things I see and hear all the time but I don't think they should be deleted or torn down. Most folks are that way too. I'm sure there are way way way more alumni from all races and nationalities for that matter that love the song and traditions of their university. A man being choked to death is the real outrage. (The police involved are being prosecuted and will see justice.) A school song being attacked under the banner of a real atrocity is a bit much. I put this up there with removing the Police Dog from the cartoon Paw Patrol or Gone with the Wind being taken off streaming services. It just seems like people demanding tolerance might tolerate a school's song or a puppy with a badge and keep their eye on things that really matter. Either way, if the players are seriously upset at Texas I would love to see them play here because being a NT football fan is truly gut wrenching at times and we need all the talent we can get.

Why are they putting Dallas on their jersey? OU isn't putting Norman on their uniforms. TCU, no Fort Worth, NT, no Denton, Baylor, no Waco. And so on. Seems odd even for publicity.
