  1. When I played we were always out on the field for the anthem. That was back in the Fouts days though. Maybe we just needed out of the locker rooms before they collapsed or the crickets got us. Field was safer except for the razor sharp turf with lines painted on.

I just can't understand how this team has fallen apart so badly.
  3. Discipline is not the job of the AD. Last I checked someone is getting paid 7 figures to do that. Any one of us could accept his paycheck and lose. Which is what is happening. That team lost last night due to discipline and preparation. Special teams specifically lost the game. The offense started slow. The Defense did all it could with little help. If a player was online before the game, I would suspend him and consider kicking him off the team to make an example of him. This team is dangerously close to the break down McCarney had.
  4. Yeah, from what I am seeing this season is about over for us. This isn't a good football team and covid is just another excuse. Southern Miss looks like rock stars against our swell team tonight.
  5. What is going on? Shell shocked
  6. Why would anyone pay to see our team false start itself to a 80 point loss?
  7. McCarney era looking team. No discipline. No heart. Im done for the night. Go Stars.
  8. Not predicting the score but maybe we beat them so bad they fire their coach, again?
  9. They always call us North Texas State so Broncos is kinda funny. We are all in the same boat.
  10. Me neither, I can't remember. The wettest game I can remember at NT was McNeese in 1994. It was a lake on that field. We needed as many people in the stands as possible to get back to D1. A lot of people still came. I was wet to the bone.
  11. No. Not a cloud in the sky. It was a really nice day. High scoring game. We scored right at the end to win. It was awesome.
  12. 100 percent agree. We had them and all the momentum. That turnover was devastating.
  13. That was a fun game. People probably didn't know but there were several Cowboys on our sideline and in the locker room. Nate Newton was going crazy at halftime telling us to kick their asses. He was all pumped up. It was so muggy that day. Great to watch that video.
  14. Oh thank goodness!!! So happy to hear that. I read the other day noon.
  15. I'm not really worried about the rona at this point. I am however worried about a noon kick off. That's awful. I am a parent with 2 kids in club sports and 1 being soccer. Noon right now without a big umbrella hurts. However beer is a mighty helper.
  16. I would imagine that's one of the many reasons you couldn't make it as a walk on football player. There is no exact mold for every player. Kinda works that way in the real world too. Now get out of mom's basement and get that meatloaf.
  17. Basically you bought the chair and the house is mere garnish.
  18. Even during the quarantine I saw random tailgating in random parking lots. Hell yes tailgate. Plus, expect way better coverage with so few teams playing. The beer will flow like wine!
  19. Play without them.
  20. Littrell explained it really well at the coaches caravan. Scheduling Army does nothing for recruiting, you have to totally overhaul your defense for a week (messing up preparations for the coming weeks), and you really need to to be concerned about injuries because of the way they play. He said outside of Army being well known and respected it has way to many down sides. I tend to agree with him. They are small and hit dangerously low. A bowl game is a totally different story. Maybe this year is different because of the Rona...
  21. Finally! Upside to lower attendance!!!
  22. Maybe with a bubble boy suit and binoculars?
  23. Can we get someone else to play? TCU, Baylor, OU, Stephen F., Abilene Christian, anyone?
