I know everyone is purely speculative on which bowl we will attend, however, anyone know how soon we will know which one we will go to? I am trying to sort out vacation time over the holidays. Thanks!

What happens after next year?

Amen hoss! I'm from EP and got sent back there for work for the last ten years and it went from bad to worse for me too. Although I miss NM too. Especially in the winter up north. I love the high desert. I moved to Frisco recently and have really missed it up here. Thank goodness we destroyed UTEP. I know way to many miners.

Try calling the ticket office. It's listed at meangreensports.com It shouldn't be a problem getting a good ticket right now. UTSA has a block too. Hopefully it doesn't rain.

I played football at UNT and was a four year letterman. I met my wife at UNT. She played Soccer and lettered three years. I was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma at UNT as well. My brother, stepfather, and stepbrother are graduates of UNT. Most of my best friends either played football for UNT or were Phi Kaps at UNT. I love me some Mean Green! P.S. I don't really care about UTSA's bowl prospects. What thought process are they basing the bowl projections for Conference USA as a whole and specifically UNT is what interests me. Outside of the Liberty Bowl of course. That's a no brainer.

If we travel well 7-8k is possible. Could be worse than that. Especially Thanksgiving weekend + with us winning next week and the west on the line for us. The fans will expect to get killed. The team could be dangerous.

I hear ya but no one honestly cares about the athletes after their eligibility is up. That's reality. Athletics is a business. A lot of folks make money off athletics. The university couldn't buy the advertising winning programs produce. (Unless of course you are Ivy league or something comparable.)

I can tell you as someone being on a bus getting hammered with rocks exactly why police would follow the busses. You might get hammered with rocks. It may not be a problem in Denton but drunks do act the fool at other stadiums all over the country. If something did happen, half this board would be saying it's insane there was no security and the university would probably get sued or bad press at a minimum because they didn't have security in place. Additionally, how mad would you all be if our team arrived late because of traffic? Or, perhaps the other team arrived late after they offered our team this courtesy when we travel? That would be classless on our part in my opinion. They also get an escort into and out of the airport. I am good with that too. More over, in this day and age providing security is a good thing. People can complain until something happens. I am personally happy to have police around. Go watch any other university or professional team. We don't need to act Busch League. Or maybe, just maybe those police officers were there to ensure our guys didn't steal the hotels towels.

What I would say is dumb is your infatuation with UNT and specifically this fan board. You can get your blood pressure & heart rate up in healthier ways like jogging, cycling, ect. Like I told you last week, not everyone hates your school but you come here and sound really trollish. Be a fan. Talk football, not throw fecal matter.

I'm with you. This guy is creeping me out. Most normal fans sarcastically debate and its funny. I envision a primer gray van with no windows cruising around Denton looking for UNT fans to scare.

We have 25 conference championships in that hundred years. Maybe 26 in a month. UTSA has how many? Don't bother answering that. We know. You really can't talk trash if you don't know about us and you don't have a leg to stand on because y'all haven't done anything yet.
