    Could be, especially if we are eyeing a guy like Jeff Traylor. Our recruiting needs a kickstart and a coach who can instantly bring in recruits from a region like East Texas would be great right now.

    Choice isn't on the UNT staff, he's part of a coaching fellowship program with the Cowboys which included some duties through the partnership with UNT.

    He's been known for recruiting which is why SL kept him on, but look at the two units he's coached: running backs and special teams. To me, those are consistently our better units.

    I did a poster for a football game in high school of that scene, but drew the mascot of my school as George and the other team's mascot as Lennie. Got same poor taste naysayers but even my English teacher liked it so it was a success.

    Very sad. Shows how one bad hire can undo years of momentum in a sport. Now we are a rebuild job.

    Like UTSA, who has out-recruited us this year, also in our backyard? All I'm saying is we are in the most diluted recruiting pool in the nation after everyone else has their pick of recruits, couldn't hurt to move around the state or out of state some more. Houston does well in Houston, we don't do well in DFW.

    I mean, don't want to bash the kid on here, but keep in mind he's been hitting up girls on Twitter telling them he was on the team when he wasn't. Got publicly called out on this by one of the girls. Just remember saying you're on the team on Twitter isn't the same as being on the team.

    This is great news. Another member of the board was given 50 tickets at a discount price and quickly sold them all. I'm gaining confidence that the attendance will be better than expected.
