If he is having trouble handling chop blocks , he will have to learn to play with his hands more. Very few big HS linemen, especially ones on the 3 A level, have good hand skills coming out of HS. If he goes against a Lemon or Y'Barboe he will get stoned everytime, no matter how big or strong he is. It will take some time for him to learn this.

Trice will be at Safety next year.. Don't recall Oline and Dline being a big detractor this year. Both are very young but Oline did not allow near the number of sacks as last year nor did the Dline ever get totally dominated. In fact the Dline will actually be bigger and more experienced next year..

From extensive experience with black powder Artillery.. It is not as simple just to put a tailgate cover over the top. Black powder both burned and unburned is a magnet for moisture. Even if you have a cover over it, tin foil and such when there is 100% humidity, the chance of misfire is very high. Then you have a spark lingering around that Might come in contact with powder that is not compromised with moisture. Then you have problems. As far as firing the gun under cover ..not a good idea.. The same blast that comes out the from muzzle also comes out the vent hole. ANY tent will either instantly have a hole blown in it or will burn merrily. And yea even during the Civil War they didn't do a whole lot of artillery firing during pouring down rain. So unless you want a 10 gauge shot gun like UT-Austins Smoaky or a WWI 75 field gun with brass casings like ATM.. Boomer does just fine.. The fire works last night were a good stand in! LOTS of BANG!

CUSA in state rivalry game... More players on the field than fans in the stands... Don't knock MG Fans!

Almost every punter MG has played against is kicking rugby style.... nearly impossible to get under and extremely dangerous to try to catch.. KO returns are down because 80 is not an unknown anymore. The kickoff coverage is 50 50. More often than not MG coverage get a blowup shot.

Not exactly on campus..Across the Brazos River from campus....they cannot exactly block off one lane of I-35 for the students to walk across either.

I agree with Denton not being centrally located in regards to UIL Regions. It might be more in line with SemiFinal games in Round 5.
