5-0, Final. The announcers are very one-sided. You don't ever lose a game 5 - 0 because of "mistakes." The female announcer was mentioning it was due to mistakes on the Sooner's side. I played competitive soccer for over 10 years and you can only lose a game that bad because you are playing against a much better team, period.

is the game going to be shown at another time? or will be online at all?

Dajon was sick today, so don't read much into it because he wasn't going to play regardless.

Let's not forget how good Ball State seems to be. I'd be extremely happy if we win this Saturday and feel pretty good about getting, at the very very least, four conference game wins with a good likelihood of winning five. I think we'll find out a lot about this team this Saturday.

It's pathetic we are still at a point where we have to worry about not getting high attendance numbers because of another college football game. It's probably true to some extent, but it's also pathetic we don't have a more loyal following. I know winning cures all (supposedly), but to me it's hard to understand why you wouldn't want to watch YOUR university and/or Alma Mater play live for some other schools' game on TV.

Just because you may find the sport not as entertaining or maybe boring, doesn't mean the rest of us do.

DW can still get a redshirt year if he doesn't play anymore this year. I think we do this and let BB play when needed instead and see what he can do. I really don't know what's going on during practices but I don't agree with not giving him a chance this season during games. But then again, I'm not a coach and trust they're making the right decisions...hopefully.

I'm sorry, but the Rice game shouldn't be even close to being considered a "sure loss." If anything, it should be at the level of the Ball State game this weekend: slight underdogs but with a decent chance of an upset at home.

I hope our football team develops into what the women's soccer team is becoming. I have no doubt that in the next few years, women's soccer will be a consistent top 25 program.

True but what's worrisome is our offense. We have more playmakers yet we call ridiculous plays at critical times. We should have scored more than 21 points in this game against that defense.

And we have more playmakers now. I just don't know how much of it is our HC stopping Chico from making better play calls....don't know.

Very true, but this loss really hurts. Regardless of predictions. If we want to turn the corner, we NEED to learn how to win these types of games. But you're right, this season will be better and quite possibly take us to a bowl.

Calm down. They actually did play hard and that counts for something. We didn't play well either, so it doesn't really matter a whole lot whether they played "well" or not. This team can go 6-6 from what I am seeing. It'll just take some determination, focus and better play calling, but it's definitely attainable. If we beat Ball State after a loss like this (and Ball State is a pretty good team it looks like), then I don't see how we don't go 6-6.

My roommate last year went to USF and he said most didn't want Canales and were happy when he left...although I guess that didn't help them a whole lot either since they're still pretty mediocre.

I actually think we should want programs in our conference to get better and compete well. I honestly don't understand the huge disdain some of you throw at UTSA. However, I think it's something about this website because other UNT fans I've talked to don't seem to care much about UTSA, whether they win or lose. It seems it's this fear that such a young program will compete with us in the near future. Why should that matter? All that should matter is that we try to get better every year, but as we do get better, I would hope our fans don't start throwing arrogance around and belittling younger or weaker programs. Humility goes a long way. You can create rivalries with conference mates, but not in an arrogant way. I disagree with that approach.

Checking out his body? I think this is the wrong forum for that type of stuff. Hah. Seriously though, so what if he is not ripped? Lots of quarterbacks aren't. That doesn't determine how good of a quarterback he is. He is obviously still in good enough shape to play D1 football, the rest is more relevant to technique, good decision making, and leadership.

That's all they received? I mean, it's still a lot of money I know, but if we payed Idaho 410,000, just seems they could have payed Ohio more. Yeah...not sure that was worth it for them. Anyway, good for us. Hopefully we can take full advantage tomorrow.
