I really hope our team and coaching staff won't overlook our game against So. Miss like many fans are. First make sure and win on the road again and then start talking about a huge game against Rice.

IF we were to go undefeated from here on out (which probably won't happen), I can see Tulane losing two conference games. One against Rice and the other against either Tulsa, FAU or even perhaps UTSA. However, we really hurt our chances to win the West by losing against them. In any event, all we can control is focusing on La Tech, which won't be an easy game, especially because it'll be on the road.

Isn't it La Tech's homecoming game against us? That game has to be taken very seriously and not counted in as a win beforehand.

Wonder what the game would have been like with Kilgore playing, though. Still some questions on offense. Defense played very well. We have a shot at winning on the road next week with our defense playing like this. Hope we clean up on penalties and capitalize better on offense.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can watch the football game against Tulane online? It surprisingly isn't on first row sports and couldn't find anything on Tulane's athletic website nor Mean Green all access. And I'm not in the US, so can't watch it on TV.

MTSU is too high in my opinion as well. One thing is to respect a team/program and another is to rank them too high. I think ECU and Marshall are at the top along with Rice. After those three, I really don't know. My gut tells me the middle of the pack would be us, MTSU and most likely Tulsa. However, my bias tells me we are right up there at the top...but that will only happen if we play well consistently, which is something we still struggle with.

Oh man...really was expecting us to beat OSU. Hopefully this loss helps the team get better and more organized in order to have a shot at a CUSA championship and make a run in the NCAA tourney.

This team won't look past any opponent. Some of our fans may, but pretty sure the team and coaches won't.

Yes, I am very aware of the stats. Thanks though. Regardless, we shot ourselves in the foot on offense and this game was a hard fought game for most of the game. I did not see an "ass kicking" but I saw a lot of missed opportunities on our end.

That 24 point "ass kicking" wasn't as bad as the final score reflects, as you should know because you watched the game. This team is starting to garner higher expectations, whether you agree with it or not. Yes, we should except a win against Tulane because we are the better team. Will we? That's why they play the game, but we should most definitely.

Amazing how quickly FIU has gone downhill to the bottom ten of FBS. I seriously do not see a game we cannot win the rest of the season. We need to hope the team keeps staying healthy and improving and we may very will win CUSA.

My cousin is one of the top gymnasts for her age in the country (she's 15) and trained for a while at Woga in Frisco (one of the top gyms in the country). Now she is being pursued by Stanford, Alabama, UNC-CH, UGA, and several more. I'm not sure she would choose North Texas if offered, but the fact that she and many of her friends are offered throughout the country -- but not so much in the DFW area -- could be crucial for a potential in recruiting some top talent down the road. Great idea and hopefully somebody actually pushes for this women's sport to be incorporated.

This one is tough to predict but something tells me we will surprise some people and not get blown out. Hopefully I am right but it's more important to stay hopefully injury-free on this one. UNT 21 UGA 38

There is no doubt they'll be ranked in the top 25. If not after this game, which is probably not enough to crack in with enough votes, they'll still be ranked sooner than later assuming they keep dominating their games like today.
