TCU went from First to Worst in 38 years. 1928 National champions and went 0-11 in 1976, my sophomore year at TCU. in my three year at TCU the fooball team won 2 home games. I started attending North Texas sporting events with friends in fall 1975. Although I defected TCU as a fan, I am very hppy with hat they have overcome and believe UNT will experience similar turn around. 35 years since your 9 -2 season!

ECU numbers must be ticket sold. I watch that game and the staduim was 50% at best. Thier Stadium must be 80k capacity.

I like that they have UNT favored over Arkie St and ULL, I think we have a very good chance agaist both WKY and ULM, that why I am traveling to both these games.

They know exactly how many FBS teams there are. As stated in the Article, the countdown includes the 120 FBS schools from 2011 season and does not include the new qualifying schools.

That's 47 spots from the cellar. We will need to go 7-5 to finsh at #77 or better.

We were ranked # 78 in the CBS Sports 2011 Start-of-Season and finished # 90 in thier 2011 End of season rankings. So, bring ranked in to 70s seems to be right on pace with our program...

I'm sure we will showup this week, maybe #80. IMO a 80 ranking = 7-5 or better season.

The Sentinel staff will take a closer look at a new team daily, counting backward from No. 120 to our projected No. 1 team. We will not be including the four teams the NCAA lists as still reclassifying to the Football Bowl Subdivision level. today they posted #84 - Washington State. As it stands now, the West will have have 7 schools and the East will have 5 schools playing Football in 2013. Charlotte begins Conference Footbal play in 2015
