  1. Good call on kicking the extra point fast. If the reffing had been fair, UNT would be up by 21. This game would be done and dusted.
  2. Nice catch. Watch it get overturned
  3. Wow, when I think about it, with fair reffing UNT would be up 14. That is a 21 point swing! its quite unreal
  4. When you can't get out of your own way, the refs will just pile on
  5. That is the wrong call. but what do you expect
  6. Rogers was good so far. But there he just really held on too long and completely lacked awareness
  7. Well, Rogers made that be immaterial. Great run.
  8. I know this team can still be good once conference play comes around. But these are the games you have to have if you want an at large. UNT will never get one if it doesn't start to also take advantage of its opportunities in the early parts of the season. It eliminates margin for error, and winning the AAC will be tougher than winning C-USA was, as there are more good teams.
  9. Much more annoyed with today than yesterday. Not sure that this LSU team is a good team. Sissokos regression is a major problem. It wouldn't even take much from there. 6-8 points would already do wonder.
  10. Allen fouled out. very worried about that.
  11. Again one of these where LSU gets to hang around. Up 4, getting the defensive turnover and then not managing to score on the run-out and instead conceeding an and 1 on the other end.
  12. Jones, Buggs and Edwards with very good games so far. Making up mostly for Scott having a cold night and absolutely nothing coming from the center.
  13. Sissoko is just sooo cold right now. There must be something with his mojo
  14. It feels like UNT had multiple opportunities to start running away with it, and never quite managed to keep LSU from hanging around.
  15. that was messy on defense, allowing LSU second, third and fourth and fith chances, but the refs let it run, and in the end UNT cme out with it and ran it to the hoop on the other side. Can't side they arn't trying to be physical, despite LSU being clearly bigger.
  16. Wow. That all time record is really abysmal. Good to make it at least a little better. At least from afar it seems like the new coach has things pointed in the right direction.
  17. Hate to say it, because I know he can be awesome, and he definitely was the discovery of the second half of last season...but Sissoko was not good this game. May have to do with the competition, but still this was far from his best.
  18. Missed opportunity. Hurts, because it could have been a major selling point in the fight for an at large at the end of the season, and it was there for the taking in the end and definitely missed some easy opportunities. But if you are taking away from this game that this team and coach will be a disappointment this season, then you are putting too much stock in the W-L record and not paying enough attention to what is going on on the court. this team has heart, and there is no reason to believe this team cannot put it together.
  19. Dang it, took the lead with two minutes to go, now I am wrong!!!! grr 🤣
  20. My prediction: UNT will lead only once in this game... when the clock hits zero
  21. Trouble close to the rim again on offense. I guess in this game back down slowly towards the rim simply doesnt work. I think the commentator is right: gotta kick it out and take the shot quickly then. Or otherwise the outside passing has to get faster and crisper.
  22. I don't think this long review break is good for UNT, as I think St Johns is more tired than UNT.
  23. The commentators talked about UNT wearing down before the half and getting outphysicalled under the rim. But St Johns is doing so much high pressure trapping, I feel the tiredness is going both ways if not in UNTs favor as they mostly adapted to it and are starting to take advantage of it more often.
  24. Within 5. No need to stop believing
