Not being familiar with such things I could never understand, in that scenario, why a university didn't simply change the coach's duty. At least he/she could be of some value doing other tasks and at least the individual would not be getting paid to stay at home.

I thank this young man for his dedicated hard work and contribution to NT football and hope that he has a complete and speedy recovery.

I keep reminding myself that these polls don't really mean anything but, recruits base their decisions in large part on perception and these polls tend to impact perception.It seems to me that he Dallas news media conspires to ignore NT's existence and it would not surprise me if they continue to publish their own little self-serving ranking system that indicates SMU to be a superior football program this year.

This will go down in football folklore.
