And four SEC teams. Of course as so many have reminded, none of this means squat outside the 'feel good' factor. But, public perception is important to all of us. It certainly is to me and it's also important to ESPN, FOX Sports, and others. Just a very few months ago things were not so comfortable. It's almost July and it's mighty hot so I'm going to just relax and enjoy this nice breath of fresh cool air.

Without regard to the Patent Office, Washington can continue to use whatever name they choose or to make any other decisions no matter how stupid those decisions may or may not be.

It would be quite an improvement to be pre-season perceived as no worse than half the other Football Bowl Subdivision programs which would require a tag around #64. I don't think that perception is out there yet.

If I was a player or coach for our team and read this article in reference to area teams and no mention was made or our team, it would give me more incentive to win than I have words to describe.

It will be a challenge for us but, I think we can beat them by more than that.
