I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows that there is going to be painful before it gets better. There is a ton of people who had unfairly high expectations. We have overall 2, maybe 3 players with legitimate talent. The whole of it had to be torn down, and it was not going to be pretty. But, it will get better. An off-season of bravado and marketing is not going to change us from the train wreck we were with Dodge.

If any of us are really shocked about our performance thus far, it's out of looking through rose colored lenses. As enthusiastic as we are, we have to understand the reality that we're dealing with a group of kids that have no confidence once things start to go south. We're starting over, after we started over with a huge mistake with Todd Dodge. They're young, our quarterback has 20 or so snaps in his career, and our best offensive weapon is facing a lot of eight man fronts. We will improve, but we have to be prepared for starts like this.

Legit. I wish I could find out how much support the student body is giving. I hated the fact that I was the only one who would walk into my class wearing our own schwag. I hated that the largest crowd ever during my time was 20,000 against NMSU, when we half-assed stormed the field and paraded the goal posts around Fry. Even my sister who was a few years older than me mocked me for going to every home game. Hell, they're ours, good, bad or mediocre. Embrace the school, and realize that if Boise can do it, anyone can.
