*If this is in the wrong spot please forgive me* I've been looking for North Texas hopps jersey for quite some time (online) & have come up empty. Anyone know where one would be able to find them? Any help is appreciated.

UNT is the closest school to where I live. And if I lived in Florida I'd probably end up going to Miami.

Okay maybe not that. I'm not here to bash North Texas at all. Not at all. I'm just a proud Canes fan. Once I finish with my classes at community college, I'll be transferring to UNT.

Basically any successful athletic university has done some shit, just didn't get caught. It's just when Miami gets caught shit gets blown waaaay out of portion since the image people have about the university & school.

Ever heard of a guy named Howard Schnellenberger? Jimmy wasn't the coach until the 84 season season. Schnellenberger was the coach from 79-83, and he would have been there longer if he hadn't left to do this USFL team thing in Miami that never materialized.

I'm not trying to take shots @ North Texas in any way. But Miami's 9>North Texas's 24. I was wrong Miami only has 9 conference titles. But you are correct we are in spotlight for the wrong reasons right now. I feel bad for Al Golden, though, being hired into this mess unknowingly (or so he claims).

I came across this board via google. North Texas needs something but copying the U is a slap in the face. Miami has 5 Nat'l chips & 10 conference titles. And North Texas sucks. Face it. And Miami is one of the iconic football programs. Smh.

Let's be honest, North Texas needs an iconic helmet logo that they'll have for the next 20, 30, 40, 50 years. Like what Miami has. The U on the helmet. We all know who that is when we turn the TV on and see the helmets.

You're out of your damn mind if you think the NCAA is gonna throw the death penalty at Miami. When the NCAA threw it at SMU they thought it would have only taken 5-10 years to get back on track, but it's over 25 years since the death penalty and SMU is just a mediocre university. And you're also an f*cking idiot if you think Miami's the only one doing this kind of $hit. College sports is all about winning and nothing else, by any means necessary. The adults should be the ones held more responsible than the students.
