Conference change & OOC scheduling
findingbennyanders replied to ntmeangreen11's topic in Mean Green Football
The architecture firm is selected tomorrow, I believe. Site should come up shortly after. Demo of Robertson is set for 12/12/12. New stadium will go on same site. Will play at Reliant Stadium in 2013 as they build it. -
Conference change & OOC scheduling

UH fan here who would like to build off our 1:1. Easy enough trip for both fanbases. -
Is the scoreboard in your new stadium able to show triple digits? Could prove problematic. You might want to have your game-day operation folks look into it. T-minus 3.5 hours before my Coog crew departs for Denton. See ya soon, suckers.

Who Will Win On Thursday FIU vs. North Texas?
findingbennyanders replied to All About UNT's topic in Mean Green Football
Ban? Do you expect opposing fans to come over to your board and laud your tremendous football accomplishments? We expect to beat you; you expect to beat us. The result is usually a spirited exchange of banter and week's wish of ill will. So with regard to a ban, no need to be so quick on the trigger (it's not your bedroom, after all). I'll disappear soon enough. Gosh, isn't it good to have football back? -

It's an obvious play on words that was there for the taking. You do get it, don't you? Most folks with a fifth grade mathematics education would. -

Well, what can I say, Sherlock? You busted me. I've made several posts identifying myself as a UH fan. -

Oh. Is there somewhere I can put money down on that?

If you can afford tuition at Miami, you can afford a plane ticket to fly there. http://www.miami.edu/index.php/office_of_financial_assistance/ug/ug_coa/ug_coa_10_11/

We usually average around 8K when we play SMU in Ford Stadium. It will be less next week, though. Around 6K is my guess.

The Most Important Question of All...
findingbennyanders replied to findingbennyanders's topic in Mean Green Football
Well, that doesn't do much good for visiting fans. Phooey. -
Many UH fans, including myself, have come over to your board asking all sorts of questions regarding tickets, parking, tailgating, local amenities, etc. You've all been very helpful. But we've neglected to ask the most important question of all: Do you sell alcohol in the stadium?
-
Just an FYI, it's not just some random group of fans. It's the official gathering of the Alumni Association. When we play up at SMU, the gathering usually draws around 300-400 people. http://houstonalumni.com/athletics/away.shtml

Plenty of Houston fans, including myself. Though I'm not sure that's what you had in mind.

Hope they like to cover. At least on 9/10.

AP #36 ranked Houston breaks fall camp
findingbennyanders replied to NT80's topic in Mean Green Football
The BYU game will almost certainly be played in our new stadium. I'm sure that was communicated to BYU. But still, we've hosted some nice programs at our current facility (Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and now UCLA). -
Thanks for all the feedback, guys. Good luck this season.
