I know they suck at football but they’re a recognizable brand, particularly in basketball. I wouldn’t say they don’t bring anything to the table. Plus it is nice to have someone to beat up on in football (though we shouldn’t take it for granted).

Yeah that was infuriating. In fairness, that particular play was classic football when you have a player like Brooks just running it down your throat. But you’re right, getting sucked in so hard (include the Safety in that as well) is hard to watch.

We took lazy angles, missed tackles, lazy blocks....we were definitely not "locked in" as our social media put on Instagram before later posting our embarrassing scores throughout the rest of the game. I am not saying we would've won but we definitely laid down and did not come close to being the more intense or motivated team.

Football is my favorite sport and NT is my school. I want us to play well so I can watch my favorite sport and root for my school. I don’t believe the economics are preventative, though I understand your position.

There's a prevalent conundrum....what makes it work: the team winning and making the fans show up and give or the fans show up and give makes the team win. Truth we all know is that it is both. The wealthy donors are probably exhausted and shouldnt be counted on...the fans who do their best shouldnt be chastized...the fans who do nothing and only complain will continue to get what they get. But I also understand a middle class family not wasting time and money on continued dissapointment. At this point, I think that things like discipline (e.g. limiting stupid penalties) are good testaments to the program's gratitude and effort to reward the fans...I get upset when I don't see that. I understand talent is difficult to attract but discipline is a choice where talent isn't. Show us you care. Show some FIGHT. Show some discipline. Get beat by a better team but show up and have some PRIDE!

Being a stepping stone would require winning. I'm fine with that if we win but we don't so they just come here to die.

It's so sad. So many of us care and there are so many of us who could have a great time supporting this program but its perpetual disappointment. Every chance we have to prove we are a tough program we shit the bed. I think we can compete on a certain level and part of me is angry at NIL/Portal stuff bc we've had so much turnover so I don't think it's all just on Morris. He definitely shoudl've had this team more mentally prepared though. These guys give up, play undisciplined and even wag a finger down by a zillion. Stupid. Shitty. Sick of it and the AD needs to know. Pointless emails will be sent but I'm done with my expectations and encourage everyone else to do so. It's insanely embarrassing to the amount of time and money I've spent on this. I feel for all of you who have given to this program.

I'm well aware of this...I haven't outlined every element of the embarrassment this has been but that's simply a small example of our loser mentality.

I'm finally with you Jim. Respectfully (and I mean that) I often disagree with you but you're right. I was going to go next week, but not anymore. They don't deserve my 3 hr drive away from my kids and the money spent. I'm sure I'll calm down a little but it's hard to hang in with this program anymore.

Do I need to elaborate on this? Many players these days wear two mouthpieces so they can look cool. One is functional and the other is decorative that they dont even use. It's so stupid. The energy put into their shitty tik toks and instagrams is embarassing. We don't have many winners on this roster. For someone to defend this is beyond me and an example of why we are perpetual losers. Embarrassing.
