I won’t argue he hasn’t been accurate at all. Six (?) years off really takes you out of rhythm and then the yo yo of being the guy then not being the guy and Covid weirdness all create some reasonable explanations (not excuses) for inconsistency. I don’t think it’s far fetched to believe he’s finally been able to lock back in to a rhythm at all. I hope it’s true. And I’ll even go ahead and say I trust he has. Will it be good enough to win 8+ games? We’ll see.

One of my all time favorites. As a Temple guy who grudges hard against rival Cove, I’m super proud of him and Byrd’s contributions. Byrd is back here in Bell County coaching as well. Tough guys. Brelan was just a straight gamer. Great attitude and heart on top of incredible talent.

I really hope I’m wrong and yes completely agree that QB play will determine so much of this. I have it as a loss bc I felt like going 2-0 vs LT and FAU with what we know right now, is unlikely, regardless of their results last year. Both squads are talented and we haven’t been consistent in winning every game we’re favored in. Felt like those two games were coin flips for W/L. I’m way down for winning em both though.

Thanks to @97and03 I fixed it. I was too tired last night to get that right. I have FAU as an L and FIU as a W.

When I look at the schedule I see 6 too but if we can somehow beat WKU and UAB (not counting on it), that’s the 8-4 path I’d figure. FAU and LT will both be tough too. UTEP - W SMU - L TSU - W UNLV - W Memphis - L FAU - L LT - W UTSA - L WKU - L* FIU - W UAB - L* Rice - W
