I don’t agree that he should have been fired after last season but at this point we need to see Wren make the tough call and pull the trigger. I firmly believe the Lovelaces know this is the right move and I imagine they can accept that. If they love Seth that much they’ll probably provide his buyout. Wren has been great but he has now stepped into the most important few weeks of his time. We will see how he handles it. He still has my trust.

Play calling has been awful and predictable and Aune has been inconsistent. To answer your question, yes it’s both. We have so much potential but I really feel like the soul has been sucked from the program at this point. Going through the motions. I love these boys and they’re so close to being better but I think we’ve hit the wall.

Hold on now, we owe Seth the respect he’s due. We had some fun, won some games, increased our talent and made a bunch of bowl games. We still aren’t winning them and haven’t had a significant win in a long time but don’t ignore his impact. It’s over and I’m done but I appreciate the advancement - and we have indeed advanced.

Knowing your posts this is satire. Otherwise completely ignorant. We haven’t had a coach coach harder. I’m pissed too but he’s done a helluva job and will continue to do so.

Man some of you guys are so miserable. Complaining about the product on the field or a gameday experience is one thing, but the incessant bitching about meaningless things like uniforms and UTEP t-shirts makes me wonder if some of yall need to get out into nature or find some zenful hobby.

Every athletic department in the country uses contractors for gameday.

I wouldn’t sweat it. We just need to focus on our stuff. We have a lot to look forward to and more to tap into if we do it right. We also have major basketball scoreboard too, if you need to reference something.

Thank you. The loss this weekend sucked and I’m embarrassed. We very well may need a coaching change (though we need a very calculated effort regarding this replacement). Wren has done shitton of good for NT. I don’t mind people holding him accountable and demanding better, I wholeheartedly agree. We may still win 7 or 8 games this year, we’ll see. Do we need to be better as a team to be competitive in the AAC? Absolutely. Am I cool with other mediocrity? Nope. But I think there’s a lot of emotional knee jerk going on right now too. This isn’t quite what those early 21 losses were. SMU is damn good. I truly don’t think Seth is the long term guy but we need to take our time with getting this right and I wholeheartedly trust Wren to do it.
