It was posted on Facebook a bit ago. My question is: Will it affect the DART schedule where they announced the trains would run New Years Day? We planned to take the Green Line from Trinity Mills at 8:00a that would get us at the Cotton Bowl by the time the gates open at 9:30 (we like to watch warm-ups). We won't be in town any way to pick up the free pass.

Have never tried the train but want to for this game. If we get on in Carrollton, it really is a straight shot to fair park? No switching trains or lines? What is their capacity? If everyone opts for the train, is it possible to miss out because they're full? Will parking be an issue if the trains are full? Won't everyone be trying to return at the same time? (I'm not from Texas, don't live in Texas; mass transit is almost nothing here!) Enlighten me!

So glad you all joined us! Your leading the chants just pointed out the need for cheerleaders who keep up with the game. Why do they continue with the cheers that no one ever joins? "First and 10, do it again" - really? I would never! But NORTH and TEXAS is crowd pumping. And "That's good for a Mean Green FIRST DOWN" always gets a response. (I did notice one of the cheerleaders did start that one at the half.) It was a fantastic road trip - lots of fun!

They have this week off. No practice. Hopefully studying for finals!

Try calling the Tulsa athletic administration number (it's on their site). They were very helpful when I called about another matter. Did you get actual tickets sent to you or did you print them off? Is someone back home able to copy them or scan them and send via email? Assuming Tulsa uses a bar code system, that might be an option as well? Where is "9 hours away"?

Are teams outside the BCS bowls required to buy so many tickets? That may account for the discrepency in actual attendance numbers. I know a lot of teams in BCS bowls actually lose money because of ticket requirements, team travel and hotel accommodations, etc. - decided well advance by bowl officials. Is that the case with other bowls?

I just called them. The guy said there is no parking on campus except those reserved lots. He said if he was coming to the game, he would try the F & M Bank lot at 13th and Harvard (Skelly is at 11th & Harvard). Said there are a couple of businesses that are closed on Saturdays that open their lots for parking. Didn't sound like there was a charge.

What did you find out about parking? Their site sucks when it comes to these details!

I'll take any reason to leave Oklahoma early to make sure we get to Saturday's game. I think that means leaving work early tomorrow and heading to Denton, don't you?! (Ice predicted for Oklahoma on Friday...) GMG

Are you looking at the end zone family pack? It looks like there will be 8 of them? The family pack is a really good deal for groups of 4. We have our season tickets there and love it. The fans are fun and there isn't a bad view anywhere. The speakers at the other end zone seem a lot louder, but still. It's a fun time

We plan to bowl with UNT anywhere except Hawaii. That one would just be too expensive...

It was hovering over the field during the Rice game, too. I assumed it was part of the camera crew for that game but must not be.

The wish wasn't whose side fills up - the wish is that we show our support for this team by being in our seats when they hit the field. I understand this last game had its own issues (traffic, holiday, etc.), but very often I worry at kick-off if the alumni are gonna show! They get there "eventually." GMG
