That is my point. They can be beat. No question. Stranger and more rare things have happened.

I'm so sick of people with low confidence. It is this very reason I avoid people who are always complaining and drudging in misery. Always looking for the negative news story, or how bad their life is, how hard their job is...seriously. Enough is enough. Think of the 1980 USA Hockey team.

I believe it is very important for all college football programs, especially the big schools with winning programs and with 90k plus stadium capacities to remember that they were not born having the status and respect they possess. A winning and respected program has to start somewhere. It is clear to me we now have the right people, resources and energy to build what we all have dreamed of. You are not born with greatness. You have to learn some, earn some and build some. And it's never easy. I have faith in saying the Mean Green Nation is far from entitled. GO MEAN GREEN. JRock

Cool Cool. Great to meet you. I started NT in 94 but left for one semester at UTA where I was initiated. I was in the process of affiliating that return semester in the Fall of 96 but my father became very sick and passed away soon after. Always regretted not getting that done at UNT since I was there for most of the time. Would love to catch up with some of those guys in Beta at the time. Talked with a Sig Ep from Beta and we are putting together a large group for the Sept 10th game in the Wing Zone. SO far he and I are the only Sig Ep Alums in our group of friends. We have about 22 going. Buying the group rate tickets Monday.

The DO is complete garbage. Always has been. Didn't even need to read the article. Knew exactly what that average writer was going to say knowing it was from DO. I'll be buying my 25+ group tickets for the Sept 10th game on Monday with pride and will support the MEAN GREEN no matter what. I've had my critisisms in the past (like we all have) with certain decisions our school has made over the years, but it doesn't mean I will drag UNT's good intentions through the mud. As we all know, UNT has needed this for years. Great, now let's build a team now that we have the proper resources. The UNT alumni's attention is growing. No question. By the way, I work in a building overlooking SMUt and I predict school leadership and alumni starting talks on upgrading Ford already after seeing the greatness that is Mean Green Stadium. Mark my words. Oh and I like the uniforms. Now just put the symbol that is UNT on the helmet RV. Had to throw that in there. I am a writer, director and designer. Branding is everything and the time for establishing that brand has come. Looking forward to being with you all this season. Go Mean Green. -JRock
