Hey...I have to put up with her entire family and LSU. I can stand my ground believe me. I have 25 people who didn't go to NT going to the Sept 10th game. That is saying something. Grrrrrrr. JRock -

LMAO. I will say she painted it before we were married. It is slowly being taken over. North Texas stuff on one side and Dallas Stars on the other. Purple will be gone soon. JRock -

Thanks Kram! I loved bringing him. Still can't believe how fast he is growing. I need to find him a cool Mean Green shirt and cap. Also, can't wait to take him to the Dallas Stars games. JRock -

I ended up taking one of my sons last night. He's just over 2. He loved seeing the band, especially the drum line. Quotes from him below. "Look daddy, there's the football stadium. Eagle!" "Scrappy is my friend daddy." "I am going to hug scrappy." "Scrappy. He's cool daddy." "Wow." Greatness. JRock -

HUH?

Ok...so there was a little confusion about tonight's spirit rally. The ticket office gave out the wrong information earlier. It is geared for students but it is open to the public. This is officially from the athletic department. Alumni and the public are welcome. JRock

Too bad the Alumni can't attend. Looks to be fun. JRock

I like that writers style. But I still say we win by 3. GO MEAN GREEN! JRock

Thanks man. I will have to see how many we have left after the game. You can always come by and see me at tailgate. JRock

Agreed. One of the reasons I no longer subscribe. JRock

Stranger things have happened in college football. I like to think positive. I believe we can make it close and will even go as far to say we win by 3 points. JRock

Greatness. I bet that lager will be good. JRock

LOL. I have three kids. Two boys (2 1/2 years and 18 months) and a daughter who is 6...and a very busy career to boot. It can be done. J

Sure thing. http://www.homebrewhq.com/ is what we use. You can get the necessary equipment for about $60 plus whatever recipe items you choose. Of course there is a lot of fancier equipment you can purchase but not a necessity. JRock

Thank you. It all depends on what type you brew. For this type of Oktoberfest, it takes about 5-15 days to ferment. Then you prime it with sugar in the bottle, which allows the remaining yeast to carbonate the brew. This takes about another 10 days or so. Lagers are normally aged months etc. It's more of an art form than cooking. My buddy is much better at the details than I am. I give him all of the credit for this. I simply wanted to honor our team. We only made 44 bottles. JRock

Don't you worry. That has never crossed my mind. JRock
