I think getting the AD's attention will not be that hard. We can do this. Especially with all of the great things we have been doing.

Hell.....just being organized with it is a start....but I do think the band is the one who needs to initiate it all. Our PA announcer just sucks regardless and needs to be limited on chants/fist down yells etc. I know I am going to catch flack for this but I can't help it.....I am a T-Shirt alum of LSU (wife's family) and I love how they get their chants going...especially "Chinese Bandits" after defensive turnovers/stops. Lastly, when we kick off...rather than everyone letting out a "hhooooaaaaaa" when the ball is kicked.....we yell GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (Before kick)............Mean Green (when ball is kicked). Simple. Again.....this all being organized and prompted by the band....not the PA announcer.

Great site!..VERY nice features......the videos are good but the editor and motion graphics artist/compositor has GOT to cut down the vignetting and FX over the footage. It kills the cinematic aspect of the shots. FX in the intro and exit. Clean in the middle. Go Mean Green JRock

Yes sir......It was a hit at the Houston game....we were the ones with the double decker school bus parked next to Fouts. Unfortunately I moved to Dallas and my brewing counter part has moved as well. Believe me....I miss it. As soon as I can get settled, I would like to get it going again. After the Fight Song was played at the cookout, they played another "Go Mean Green" song/chant etc...whatever you want to call it. Does a recording of this exist? Loved it. JRock

We had a great time. My kids were wild and all over the place. After meeting scrappy again and after they saw the stuffed Scrappys in the team store, they had to have one each. Didn't get to talk with many of you since I was wrangling my kids but hope to see you all this season at tailgates and games. Go Mean Green JRock

The SMU deal is for four games from 2014-17 with an option for eight additional games through 2025. The first four games will alternate sites, beginning with a game in Denton. The Army series will be six games beginning with a home-and-home in 2009 and 2010. UNT will host the first game. The series will then resume in 2016 with the games alternating between West Point and Denton, beginning with a game at West Point. The last game of the series will take place in Denton in 2019. After all of the growth our beloved school has been seeing, I was thinking how great it would be if UNT built a large Eagle Aviary on Campus. Probably not next to Apogee due to Boomer and fireworks but somwhere near the new union. My family raised and rehabbed exotic birds for the Phoenix Zoo years ago and I've seen some very impressive aviarys. Some even surpassing those found in zoos. What a great tradition this could be.. I love taking my kids to see Mike the Tiger at LSU. Something similar but for Scrappy. Maybe establishing an Eagle rehab facility and program that raises money for exotic bird rehab etc. Something to think about. JRock
