Was just listening to the ticket. They were talking about college football. Saying there were two games going on in DFW the weekend of the 29th. Tech at SMU and LSU vs TCU. Same ole same ole media. Good grief.

The students aren't back for another few weeks. It's all about the timing.

Looking forward to hosting Idaho. Should be a great atmosphere and game.

Today...I got to talking to one of my employees who is an SMU alum. We started talking about the new 12 year non-conference schedule between UNT/SMU and how exciting it's going to be. We both agreed it will be good for the schools/programs...stadiums would be close if not filled for the games yadda yadda yadda. Of course....in the end he proceeded to jab that UNT would never be in a conference that was worth a flip. I chuckled and told him to get back to work. JRock

Yeah....I remember the candlepower talk but the ULL game on TV was dark. I was at the game that night and a friend texted me that was watching it saying it was dark. Sure enough, when I got home I turned on the DVR and thought the same thing. Maybe it was a tech issue. We will see.

Does anybody know if they are doing anything about the stadium lights for this season? I remember the TV night game vs ULL being a little dark. Just wondering since we will be having a lot more TV games now. Can they use higher wattage bulbs? Just curious.

We donated and paid for parking. Great night for our family. My three and four year old loved it. We even had bits of exploded fireworks blowing on us in the wingzone. My kids thought that was cool. Something to write the date on and frame to remember the night.
