I don't see us making a bowl game this year, but that doesn't mean we haven't been successful. We have had a great season. The team has made huge strides in the right direction and I believe that Coach Mac will have us in a bowl game before too long.

I bleed Mean Green, but I have a feeling that Tech will win this year. I hope they prove me wrong!

I think it would be great to have a rivalry with Texas Tech, but for it to be legit they would have to respond. On another note, I think this game will be close. Both teams are young and raw. If we had Tony Mitchell in the game the choice would be obvious, but Texas Tech will be favored because of their Big 12 affiliation. Give us a year or two and it will be no contest. -
A few friends and I ran into the Great Patrick Cobbs after the Houston game in the Apogee Stadium parking lot. We gave him a ride to his car, which was parked at Fouts Field. Great guy. -
Power is going to be a monster. He has the size (6'5", 258 lbs) and talent to be an excellent receiving tight end. I can't wait to see him in action on the field.

I feel like a closed practice adds a bit more credibility to the Mean Green. However, I do like the idea of a MGC members only scrimmage.

Will we actually sell out the Houston game?

They will scan all of the student ID's at the gate. That should count the same as tickets, the students are paying an athletic fee for the stadium.
