  1. Investigation may have been complete bs? http://www.goodbullhunting.com/2013/8/8/4604278/the-plot-thickens-no-active-investigation-on-manziel-ncaa-espn
  2. Yeh cause most fans don't completely obliterate their own team on other fan boards...
  3. Why isn't our administration doing more to make us look like this?! This is what we...awww screw it. Jokes and jokes. In all seriousness that's just ridiculous, a lot of the haves will not be able to compete with that.
  4. That article is pretty interesting. I feel bad for the kid just for the fact that anything he does for some reason becomes a news story, he's not doing anything more than what a large portion of college kids do on a regular basis. However, he could do some things to help stop that, i.e. not tweeting stupid crap, so he does sort of egg it on. The thing I found a little shocking is how his dad talks about how he's so afraid of how his son drinks, and how he thinks it can all spin out of control, but then at the golf course he seemingly shares a beer with his underage son. Kind of terrible parenting.
  5. Seriously? I think a certain school is getting a little to big for their britches already. REALLY hope we beat these clowns now.
  6. No Stu Holden? I think he's played well enough. It's nice to see the guys playing so well. I don't care if it is against teams like Belize et al. They are scoring goals, beating the teams they need to beat (which used to be a problem), and playing with style. I think they have started to buy into Zie German's philosopy.
  7. We probably wouldn't be talking about this if it was a black girl instead of a white girl.
  8. I know! I mean why can't the President of the United States of America, the most powerful man in the free world, and the attorney general, make a comment on every news story! I mean are they even doing anything?! GAAAHHH!
  9. Nope, because one or two people are not responsible for the problem.
  10. Ahhhh yes, the ole I have no valid argument so I'm going to bash Nancy Pelosi move. Brilliant.
  11. Can we just have one topic that doesn't evolve into you two guys getting into a pissing match about who is and isn't a conservative? I appreciate you guys' view points but the whole "I'm a conservative", "no you're not" dance you guys do has become a complete beating.
  12. Not sure if joking or not? Clinton and Patraues both testified. Clinton resigned because even three years ago she said she would only do this job for one term. Patreus resigned because he got caught having an affair.
  13. I don't think these guys have really thought this out at all. What/who are they trying to represent here? Law abiding gun owners? It's legal to openly carry in Virginia, but it's not in DC, once they step into DC they are breaking the law. Agree with it or not, the law is the law. I just can't wrap my head around this, are these people just trying to cause a conflict, trying to be martyrs for the bullshit belief they have that someone is trying to take their guns away? I don't really get it.
  14. Not exactly college station, but I will say I did find a rather nice selection of Mean Green T-shirts at a Fanz here in Austin.
  15. This is getting beyond ridiculous. Why is a rep from Muenster trying to tell people in Austin what to do? BIG GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE!! Really this is just good for a laugh, mainly because the reaction by people who are opposing the bag ban is totally ridiculous. Today it's our plastic bags, tomorrow our guns, stay vigilant citizens. http://www.statesman.com/news/business/bill-to-kill-austins-bag-ban-gets-first-public-hea/nWyLQ/

  16. Typical. First they come for our green uniforms, next our guns, and first born children.
  17. And people who believe this crap hate it when it's pointed out that it's a whole load o' B.S.
  18. Right, he came out knowing that he was not going to be playing anymore.
  19. This doesn't have anything to do with anything you are talking about. This has nothing to do with anything like paying the countries bills or any other problem our government is dealing/ notdealing with, not everything ties into the, "America is a sinking ship" narrative people love to talk about. I do think you are right though, it's not that big of a deal. The guy is gay, so what, that's how we SHOULD look at it. It should not be a big deal in this day and age if a person is gay or straight, why should we care. He's just another retired player that came out after he walked away, nothing groundbreaking.
  20. Rugby?! I like rugby, but I thought the purpose was to get an event that is a little more popular worldwide, there's only like 5 countries that play rugby!
  21. How much do you want to bet that to replace wrestling they add skateboarding? $10,000 bet? Any takers?
  22. I think that was a lot of the problem. That stadium is a really really hostile environment, rivals Azteca, would have been nice to salvage a point, but that honduras squad isn't terrible. Qualifying could be tricky, the teams in this group have gotten better. Jamaica could be a tough out, Costa Rica has some good attacking pieces, and Mexico is usually a pretty tough fight. Also can someone explain to me why Bocanegra was on the bench and Bradley was playing a centerback? Is Bocanegra hurt, and if so why even put him in the roster?
