Me thinks the little conservative doesn't get it. Obama will beat Romney. Polls are showing the more Romney talks and talks and talks the less people like him, his numbers polling against Obama are dropping. Santorum would not beat Obama, and I know you are going to disagree with that, but you're wrong. Santorum would not get the independent voters, no way, no how.

They are all terrible. I don't like any of them all that much, I watch them because I'm a glutton for punishment. I listen to Rush, and I listen to Ed Schultz, they are both ridiculous and wrong on a lot of things. There, criticism of both sides. But lets just be honest, when it comes to a news outlet discussing or "reporting" on separation of church and state, fox news pundits usually come out on the side that it should be ignored and we should be teaching intelligent design in public schools and other ridiculous things like that.

Please educate us. What did fox news tell you they meant by separation of church and state?

Right now it seems like it's not worth it. If they win a world series, it's totally worth it. The Rangers would not have payed anywhere near that, they would have probably would have cut that deal in half, if that.

That's a terrible deal the Tigers made. Fielder is a good player but they kind of already have a pretty good player at 1st base in Miggy Cabrera. What are they going to do with Cabrera, move him to 3rd or the outfield? That would be hilarious! With those guys on the corners you can bunt safely with just about every batter. Bengie Molina would have a chance to leg out a bunt against that defense!

While I would hate to see Hamilton go, Fielder would be the better option. Hamilton is going to go down hill soon, and when that starts it's going to be bad and it's probably going to be a steep drop off. His body just can't take the punishment. Plus you have to look at the amount of games Fielder plays over how many Hamilton plays, Fielder misses about 6 games a season, Hamilton misses entire months with injuries. Unless Hamilton is ready to make the move to first base, I say sign Fielder. Also I think it would be a nice middle finger to the angels if we signed him, and I'm always in favor of that.

The Posting fee doesn't worry me at all, it's being paid out at a rate of 8.6 million for every year of Darvish's initial contract, so we aren't just paying out 50 mil right now. And the new several billion dollar tv deal makes that all a little easier to stomach. Yu will be good, I think it's wrong people keep bringing up the Daisuke thing, he is a completely different pitcher than Daisuke. Yu goes after hitters, pounds the strike zone, Daisuke nibbles around the plate and doesn't go after hitters. There's some major differences in their game and make up. As for signing Fielder, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY I HOPE JD AND THE RANGERS FO CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN!!! The guy is a beast, plays pretty much every game every season, and he will rake in the ballpark. Baseball season needs to hurry up and get here. Go Rangers.

But that's kind of how it works. Cutting the budget by that much takes a little time, you can't do it all at once or it will be way to much of a shock to the system. I don't agree with a lot of what Ron Paul says but I think he does realize it can't be done over night. I agree with you, Federal spending is out of control...but it's been that way for a lot longer than the past 3 years. It's was that way the previous 8 (and before that) before Obama took office. It's been that way since we decided we needed such a ridiculously large defense budget, it's that way due to the fact we need to give Israel (a developed nation, with a ridiculously awesome military) a ton of money, then there's those two wars that lasted way longer than they should have etc etc. Yes Obama has spent a lot money, but a pretty large portion of that money has been spent to get us out of problems created by previous administrations.

Give me your reasons for thinking any of the possible republican candidates deserve to be president. And if you say Herman Cain should be in the mix I'll just assume you are joking.

Just want to see what people think of this. Black athletes have been invoking god in interviews, post game, pre game, random interviews, etc for years and years, and people have always been quick to deride this. So are we legitimately worried that the death of a homeless man on campus is going to potentially drive away potential recruits/students? Is that what's happening here?
