Is it just me, or does ESPN and other critics discount what McCarney has done at North Texas. I remember McCarney mentioning in a interview that "there are right ways to create a winning program and a wrong way." I feel like McCarney could of won earlier in his career at North Texas if he had just taken players who could just play even if they didn't have the right attitude and cheapen the success of the program. Instead he cut those players that had bad attitudes and didn't want to put int the work. McCarney chooses players who are the best and who have their heart in the right place with the team and the game. Mean Green family. I feel like McCarney has set up North Texas to win for a long period of time. Yes, the seniors left... but McCarney said that those seniors left a legacy, ones that the younger guys will want to fulfill. He told us at the caravan that the boys have a chip on their shoulder that the program's success is just a "flash in the pan", and the boys are ready to prove them wrong. I hope we see that come SMU time.

So i posted earlier this week and asked if you guys knew of any desktop backgrounds that i could use. I've noticed that the backgrounds haven't changed since 2009. So i wrote to Mean Green Sports: Me: Can you guys make UNT football desktop wallpapers? There were some in 2009. But it would be awesome if there were some action shots with the North Texas logo on it. It could be a great promotional tool. MGS: We can help. What size do you need? I think UNT having a dominant presence in DFW is not a silly title when we cannot sell out our stadium. We cannot find find North Texas merchandise easily in the metroplex, we still have alot of people who are apathetic towards their university..we have titles that should no longer stick around... Examples of sayings that need to die... "UNT is just a commuter school." "UNT Sucks" "UNT has nothing for me to want to go there" These things need to change...i disagree, its not silly.

i would love to help in any way possible.. i am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, and After Effects. I design for a department on the UNT campus as is.. Here is my thing.. i dont know how many people go to this website on a daily basis.. maybe the administrators can give us an idea. There is one thing that i find interesting.. we have resources and word of mouth on this forum. The people are our resources, each person is good at something.. we can come together and make things happen. What do you think?
