I agree. We need 8-4, 9-3 seasons on the regular for awhile. 5 years at a minimum.

Again do I like the 3-3-5? Not for my philosophy, but that’s the scheme we run. You as a fan know very little about defensive philosophy, personnel, or honestly anything. I do know we have a chance at finding 3 DL rather than 4. Looks to me like we have some solid defensive recruits coming in. To me our defense looked more outmatched than a scheme issue.

Saw him play over the past 2 seasons. That might have been the worst he has looked. You saw when he is on he is the real deal. Better arm, more polished, and much better runner. Both very solid but it’s why he is probably a future NFL QB -

This is my point on stars in the recruiting process. Go over to the Twitterverse and lookup a guy called “Footwork King”. This guy (so many like him) make great athletes think he can get them offers and “get them right”. And recruiting services feed into this. Parents feed into it. And honestly that shit has zero to do if you can play football. HP has FOOTBALL players. Those kids are from the best and the brightest, great nutrition and best supplementation money can buy. Not knowing HP, they are good.

Granted Manvel hasn’t been around long, but I get your point. HP has more resources and advantages than almost every school in the state.

Ya Bc I know exactly what people are hinting at. HP has really good HS football players and a D1 q and #88 is a D1 WR if he wants to be. How many of Manvel’s studs are white? 1. We know exactly what everyone is thinking.
