I’m not quite sure what he has been doing the past 2 seasons. I thought he went to Sam Houston. But I know his family moved to Dallas. Maybe he just transferred in. Hoping he pans out.

I’m guessing Hurshie walked on. He looks the part that is for sure. Hope he as grown up some in college. He has the physical tools. Wasn’t able to put it together for us. Wish him them best.

So he was lightly recruited out of HS, he played our Sam backer spot here at Heights. He has good size at 6'1 and I always said he would fill out when he got to college. We used him as our coverage LB. Im not saying he will be a future NFL player, but he is a high IQ football player and just a hard worker. Im rooting for him. He was a 1st team All District OLB in a district loaded with d1 athletes. We could have us a Lorenzen on our hands! Kidding. I think this kid is going to be SPECIAL at UNT. 2018 redshirt (Fine is a junior) 2019 mop-up duty/next man up (Fine is a SR) 2020-2021-2022 We have solid options at QB. Reminds me of back in the early-mid 2000s of the QB factory that was UH.

WR/DB he is an athlete he can play somewhere. If he was playing in Texas longer he would have double the offers.

Honestly if the right opp comes open or the right job wants him they aren’t going to care about how shit the defense was. As soon as the first 3-4 million job offers SL he is gone IMO. And I don’t blame him one bit.

This kid moved into Rockdale for his senior year and led him and his 3A teammate (OU signee) Crawford to a title. He has the measurables. He is heating up. I would think he could play here.

You can find some but we all know it’s a numbers game. The thing about TX is there is talent everywhere. The key for a play like us (UNT) is getting relevant to the HC on campus. That’s why I say we need a clinic presence or hell even host one. Get SOMETHING going for the HS coaches to sell to their athletes. Morris was really good at that at SMU.

Well damn sure hope it isn’t West Tx....not a damn drop out there. DFW/Centex/Houston are the main. Always a few bEastTX gems too.

Dude my buddy was coaching corners at Round Rock Cedad Ridge. He is our age. Well my age. Smu hired him away and now he is at Arky. We gotta politic this winter at clinics! Which clinics you going to?
