Brad Graham # 25, six solo tackles
-
Rangers let you bring in food/drinks..... But no were else around here I can think of.
-
I saw him too. And talked to him on the way into the game. We talked for a sec and he said they should have made the NCAA tourney last year and they are going to make it this year.
-
If the offer still stands by the next home game comes around, I'll take you up on it. Thank you.

Any one else have this problem? When I go to the gate to go into the game, thye informed my girlfirend and I that my tickets were reprints (whatever that means). We had to walk to Gate #2 on the other side of the stadium, but it was resolved quickly there. Besides that and catching someone trying to steal my tailgating stuff (and them breaking my new misting system) I had a blast.
-
I learned that lesson. I'm just not sure I'll be tailgating anymore. Most of the time its just me, my gf, and a few friends and no one wants to miss the game. Its such a hassle to take everything back to the truck( I tailgated at the hill and parked in the grassy area). Any suggestions?

Had i great time too, until i found someone trying to steal my tent. I had decided to wait out the rush on the hill and relax at a friends house down the street. When i returned some guys where packing up my tent. They claimed they thought it was theirs, then said they were picking up the tent for their "Friend". They had already ripped my misting system of my tent and snapped the lines. So my brand new misting system is now rendered useless, but thank God i got there when i did. Absolutely ruined my night and experience at the new stadium.

Longhorn Network broadcasting 5 UTSA games

shows how bad the LHN is doing and the huge tv market UTSA has. Don't think other conferences aren't noticing. -
Sept. 6, 2011 An Open Letter to University of North Texas Students from Head Football Coach Dan McCarney: This Saturday will be a historical and monumental day for the University of North Texas and the Mean Green football program. With the opening of the state-of-the-art Apogee Stadium, we are beginning a new era at North Texas. Along with my coaching staff and every member of this football team, we will work tirelessly to make this new era one that you can be proud of. College football is special because of the environment that is created by the students on campus. It all begins and ends with the students. We represent you every time that we step onto the field and we take that responsibility seriously. I have made it a mission of mine to interact with as many students as I could since I came to UNT nine months ago. I have spoken to countless groups, addressed every incoming freshman orientation class and been all over campus meeting and greeting you. I understand the importance of your potential impact on success for this football team and we can’t do it without your support. We need your help to make this week special. We only get one chance to open a new stadium and we need you to be a part of it. It all begins with the pep rally on Friday night. I am bringing my entire team so they ALL can see how excited you are for this game. On Saturday, when the team arrives and makes the Mean Green March down the hill to the stadium we want to be enveloped in a sea of Green and White. And finally at 6 p.m. when we face off against a very good Houston team, we want to play in front of the largest crowd to ever see a UNT football game in Denton. YOU can make the difference! It is the students that create the fervor and passion that can only be found at college football games. I have challenged this football team to play at a level of intensity that will make you proud and I would like to challenge you to create an environment that will be as equally satisfying for them to play in. I am honored to be the head football coach at UNT and I can’t thank all of you enough for the words of welcome that I have received since my arrival. Together, with your help, we will build this program into a point of pride for the entire University of North Texas family! Go Mean Green, Dan McCarney Head Football Coach University of North Texas

Maybe a little unethical, but i am a student and i would be able to buy a parking pass for you.
-
wow! I can not wait for this season!
-
And we gain confidence, mesh together as a team more, get some of the kinks out, maybe even try some new plays, and get some guys who normally wouldn't play some time and experience under their belt. I see the downside of having a body bag game, put there are also positives. Maybe instead of having a Tulsa we could have had an easy win game.
-
Richie and Greggo from 105.3 the fan will be at Rudys in Denton tomorrow.
-
I honestly just want a body bag game so we can have one OOC win and wrinkle out the horrible play we saw against FIU. This years OOC schedule is ridiculous. Thank God we have one next year
-
I get that we are often a body bag game for others. Just don't get why we don't have one every year. Didn't have one in 09, 10, or this year. RV needs to get one every year. Doesn't make sense why he doesn't.
-
Are you trying to say we can't beat a low ranked FCS or Div II team?
-
Why don't we schedule any? It seems like every other school in the nation has at least one. Would it hurt to schedule one FCS or Div II team? It would help us iron out some of the wrinkles and gives us a win under our belt. I just don't get why we don't have at least one on our schedule.

Arkstafan's Realignment Thoughts - Belt Picks Up one
mgfan replied to MeanGreen61's topic in Mean Green Football
I was thinking the same thing for the SBC. Nothing wrong with SBC East and SBC West idea. If your not expanding your dying. UTSA is growing at a fast rate and cusa will surely notice especially with their large t.v. market. Expanding is better than sitting around and doing nothing. -
Can anyone else see FIU going undeafted? With a win at Louisville I think it is possible/probably that they do. It would also be great for the Belt if they do.

it will sound much better when the stadium is filled. The sound was bouncing off everything.

Shot Gun Snap and hand off on 4th and 1?
mgfan replied to FirefightnRick's topic in Mean Green Football
I don't get why we arguing how the fourth down should have been converted... Qb sneak, have a fullback, or whatever. How about you punt the ball. It was the first quarter, your defense got burned in four, YES FOUR, plays for a TD. Punt the ball and put them back deep in their own territory or at worse on their own 20. How hard is that? -

i believe it was 7-0 then they got the ball back and in one play it was 14-0. So in a total of 5 offensive plays they scored 14 points correct me if im wrong
