I wonder how many potential recruits and their parents read this forum and think “No way am I going to a place that bad mouths players, coaches, and the AD." Read through the past topics and comments and see how many are negative about our coaches, players, athletic director, and teams. If you saw this and you were a player or parent of a player would you or your son end up here? I realize this is an open forum and people have every right to express their own opinion, but let's think how we portray ourselves to the outside world, current players, and future players. One the dumbest threads ever. How can you make the broad sweeping comment that Mac knows nothing. Why don't we see how the season plays out then we can evaluate the team/coaching? When I first looked at it I thought the same thing, but at second glance who would beat them? Tech barely beat UTEP (UTEP would get hammered), Texas beat us, They would stomp Texas State, and I believe they would beat Houston.

DW has far better vision of the field compared to Greer, especially on the scramble. Many times Greer had Terrel open and either threw it away or made a 1-3 yd dump pass. I understand what Mac is saying about being able to keep the ball, but what does it matter if you can't produce any points on the board?
