I don't want to see mason fine out there. The almost injury last week scared me. Fine may be able to do that against BC but an sec defensive is probably a little faster. I know it will help experience but even with him in there we probably won't win.... thoughts?

The wife and I definitely heard it in the 4th quarter. We then talked about how many times we have heard that song. I like the pregame chants. The guy just says "mean green" or "north texas" at an awkward time instead of saying it with the crowd.

You move towards a ball by...... moving towards the ball.... Take a hitch or curl route. If you turn an the ball isn't in your hand you continue in the direction that. NOT stand and wait for the ball and that is what happened to us.

Morris did as expected. 1st game team chemistry isn't there yet. Fine played well in garbaget ime in his 1st series.... not so much in his second. When the pocket collapsed he had trouble seeing over the o-line. Morris will be just fine. 1 game in, let's give it some time. Like it was said early....receivers have to move TOWARDS the ball. They shouldn't be beaten to the by the corners.

This is a big game along with a big season. With the big 12 looking to expand and the AAC having an opening, we must capitalize on the opportunity. We cannot continue to stay stagnate and let opportunities slip through our fingers. Let's go get them ponies today. Here is to a great season! GMG!

Well we had 4 last year....... I'm thinking the camp was too close to call. I'm with Doctor JJ, I would hate to see a Redshirt burned to have him sit later in the year. Is there certain number of plays or games you have to play for you to burn your redshirt? Or once you play it is gone?

I have heard UNT may be using a dual quarterback system. I am interested to see if Mason Fine will be seeing playing time. Thoughts.......

I don't believe SMU has that much power in the aac. Sounds like an excuse the old AD would use. If they didn't want to be associated with us, why would they agree to a long term series?
