Team store isn't going to have them. They're custom made by this company in North Dallas- biggameusa.com They sell game balls for other teams, but I'm sure due to our wonderful licensing agreements, they can't sell ours. Maybe call them and give them some cash under the table? Otherwise you'd have to contact somebody within the AD. I personally wouldn't mind some NT football coasters like they have for other schools. It shouldn't be this hard for the AD to take our money.

Year after year after year of getting our asses kicked, the first winning season since 2004 isn't going to cut it. It was back to our regularly scheduled programming the next 2 seasons culminating with 66-7 on Homecoming. Those who thought 2013 was a flash in the pan were totally right. It is going to take at least 3-4 seasons in a row of 8 or 9+ wins each for the attitude to change.

Like who? I took a quick look at fanatics.com and could find the above shirt for a variety of schools, but not ours. Schools with their merchandising house in order sell the exact apparel coaches wear all the way down to their shoes. As mentioned above, its a missed opportunity as myself and a few others on this thread would buy the above shirt if we could. Nothing looked more amateur than seeing Mac and his crew wearing their "North Texas Football" gear that nobody could get their hands on unless you were in the 17.

This was one of my biggest pet peeves about the prior administration, looks like nothing has changed. We should be able to buy the same merchandise that the players and coaches have. Most other schools it's possible, but not here.

Benford was especially lucky to have Ernie and his extended support after everybody else knew he was a dud after year one.

Doesn't help when your biggest donor "supported him too long."

For all those who questioned some of us when we called out Ernie for his support of Benford and said we don't know what he's thinking, there you have it. It was obvious to anybody with half a brain that if Benford didn't have Ernie's support he would have been gone. As I said before, this one is on RV and Ernie. We got rid of RV, but Ernie shouldn't be involved in the coaching search. He got this one dead wrong. This is what happens when personal relationships get in the way.

I think it will be cause for concern if our top donors are involved in the hiring process of the new coach after getting it so wrong with Benford.

Oh, so NOW he's not happy? Too little too late from the so-called "Godfather" of the basketball program. The blood of our once proud basketball program is on his hands as he and his good buddy RV supported Benford long after the vast majority of us realized on 11/12/12 that he wasn't the man for the job. It didn't have to be this way, Benford should have been fired long ago, but Ernie's support played a huge role in him being here 5 years. The issue isn't a lack of money, the issue is the unconditional support Benford received from the power brokers within the athletic department.

Probably because the amount of money offered for this gig wouldn't come close to what a decent graphic designer would make post graduation.

We're in this position because our top donors didn't want to do what most of us wanted to do after year one of this mess. Was it simply poor basketball judgment or trying to hold on to the last pieces of RV's failed regime, I don't know. In my opinion, I'm not sure that our top donors don't need a reminder every now and then of the sad state our basketball program and the athletic department as a whole was left in by the men they intensely supported long after most other fans were calling for their heads.

So this is being produced by our AD? It's brutal. Bad camera cuts, bad replays, whip pans, snap zooms, on and on. It's nice that all this $ was spent on equipment, but it doesn't matter if nobody behind the cameras has experience in live sports production.

Anything he says is much worse. He is brutal. The kickoff thing is so uncomfortable. And he constantly has to correct himself...4th and 11...uhhhh 4th and 16... He should be gone with the rest of the RV era people.

Hey Baby is an absolute beating. I associate it with losing like people associate the Under Armour unis with losing. In competitive games, it totally kills the mood in the stadium when we need something up tempo to fire up the fans and the team going into the 4th.

Find the cheapest ticket online somewhere else and you'll have your choice of 50k seats.

Ticketmaster has never been a good indication of tickets sold. They only place a small amount of available tickets for sale online.

Attendance sucked when we weren't on TV too. Are the G5s, full of schools who have attendance struggles, doing it wrong by trying to get TV contracts and as many games on TV as possible?
