Proof that most people are oblivious, don't care or are just dumb. Or at the very least haven't been to another college football game at the FBS level. It's close to fact that our PA guy sucks, yet he gets 85%+ satisfied? 85% were satisfied with band uniforms? Come on. Hopefully those in charge here are smarter than the masses.

Each day just highlights more and more how idiotic it was to keep RV here 14 years and how out of touch those who supported him were.

Funny. My point is that I wish this fan base would ditch the “well it’s better than we did in the past” mentality. It’s what kept a failing AD here for 14 years. Because he was better than the last guy. For a program that wins consistently, this season would have been a disappointment. Yes, this season was good and fun to watch, but I’m looking forward to continued improvement so these 9 win seasons can be written off and forgotten as one year blips and we’d be celebrating 12-13 win seasons and conference championships instead.

I think the goal should be to end the season in the top 25. That means winning both the conference and a bowl game.

Good god this fan base has low standards. Great Season?? Getting your ass kicked by SMU, FAU x2 and Troy does not make for a great season or one to remember or whatever people want to call it. This team and coaching staff couldn't be bothered to prepare big games. I don't care what happened two years ago, we need to be better next season.

So people on here complain that we don't play P5s in Denton. Complain that we cancel the Army series to play a lesser opponent in Liberty. Complain about the yearly FCS game. But when we have a 9 win season and have the opportunity to play a P5 in a bowl, we say we'd rather play a lesser Sun Belt team? Come on. Give me a P5 game any day of the week.

Also, our athletic department isn't getting any kind of special apparel from Nike. They just order items out of the Nike catalog and slap a logo on them just like little Johnny's pee wee team can. The AD, Barnes and Noble, Voertman's, Fanatics, Rally House, etc, all order from this catalog, then just put whatever logo they want on any given shirt. In the case of the long sleeve dri fit everybody wants, this is why the same base shirt can have any one of 4 different NT logos on it depending on where you see it. My solution for this problem would be for the athletic department and Barnes and Noble to get together on sideline apparel so fans can have access to this stuff. That's not true. While we don't know the exact reasons why we can't get NT sideline apparel, we know that at a lot of other Nike schools, fans can get all of the same merchandise the coaches have. Play the damn fight song. All I do is win isn’t our fight song. I don’t care what words the students add to the fight song, that’s on them, but play it! Save all I do is win for when we’re actually going to win the game, not 5 minutes into the first quarter.

It would be nice, but don't see it happening. Weak perception of CUSA, weak perception of this program as a whole based on recent history and 3 losses (2 of them horrific) to non ranked teams makes for an uphill climb even if we win out.

Michigan is Jordan Brand (Nike) Wren just went all in with Nike, migrating all programs. I personally prefer Nike, and I don't think things would be any different with another brand. It seems like here the design of merchandise is based on who sells it. Hence why the same base Nike shirt can have any one of 4 variations of the same logo depending on where you get it.

Shouldn't be that hard. It's sports merchandising 101, a lot people are willing to spend good money on sideline gear. Pro sports and most colleges have figured it out. If the person in charge of this stuff up there doesn't get it, then maybe they should be sent on their way, because like the poster above said, the stuff in the store this season is crap. Anybody see the sharp black Nike polo that SL has been wearing in recent weeks? Didn't think so. It would have been nice to have for the ODU blackout game. Mini helmets? Nope. People are drooling over all these new helmets, I'd buy a mini of each helmet right this moment. For those who are detail oriented such as myself, the one green Nike polo that looks like the one the coaches wear isn't even the same thing. The one in the store has a black outline on the SOW while the one that the coaches have doesn't. Tired of all the excuses as to why our merchandise situation is the way it is, tired of hearing about licensing, Barnes and Noble, whatever. Just give the people a product worth buying. It shouldn't have to take a damn letter writing campaign. Luckily for me, my bank account looks much better with no sideline gear or mini helmets available for purchase.
