I didn't notice any of the players fighting with the new unis like they did with the cheap Wilson kits. None of the constant retucking in jerseys or pulling up their waistbands and retying the laces. And the shorts didn't look any different than most teams in the nation.

The only redeeming part of the night for me was our turnout. We were definitely the vocal majority until about 7:10 pm.

This whole realignment mess is because of one thing - TV money. We currently get 0, zilch from the Sun Belt TV deal. While some here aren't fired up about the MWC, at least their schools receive TV revenue and every football game is on national TV.

The broadcast was from the Sun Belt Network, not an ESPN production. My guess is the conference only gave ESPN3 the rights for live broadcast only, no replays. I highly doubt Mean Green Premium has anything to do with it.

Yes, any TV is better than no TV. Even if it is LHN. Think about this, if we have a big win and its not on TV, nobody will have highlights to show. If we are on TV, that takes away the excuse that the game wasn't televised so we don't have highlights to show on the evening news.

Thanks for the tip, Crazy! Just picked up a green coaches polo. They were running low on the green polos, only 5 or 6 left, all large or bigger. Plenty of white polos in stock though. They had a lot of great Nike merchandise. RV said if they were going to make nice merchandise, we needed to buy it. This is a great reason to make the trip to Voertman's. I doubt this stuff will be available cheaper. The coupon books have a dollar bill cover and were in a box next to the door as you walk in.
