How could they have not seen this as a possibility from the beginning? Do they not realize LHN is an ESPN platform? Did they actually think ESPN was going to use valuable air time on one of their main networks for Texas Tech vs Texas State?

No, the real reason why we look small time is our recent record in the Sun Belt Conference.

Can anybody give the lowdown on price changes for those of us who haven't received their renewals yet?

We don't use an outside firm. As far as I know Hank Dickenson is our advertising salesman. It's all handled in house. The top two names in the field are Learfield Sports and IMG College. Teaming up with one of these firms would really take some pressure off our already stretched AD staff.

Not sure what you're trying to say here... If you're saying that C-USA schools earn less than 5 million per year in TV revenue, in 2010 that was true. The C-USA deal with Fox was signed prior to the 2011 season. No matter what the figures are, or how weak the new alliance might or might not be, as long as the Sun Belt brings in zero TV revenue, there is no way in my eyes to justify our existence in this conference. This is where Waters failed the schools in the conference. This realignment stuff is mainly based on one thing- TV revenue.

C-USA TV revenue was 5 mil per school and MWC revenue was 1 mil per. I don't see the new alliance deal earning less than 1 mil per. An extra million plus per year in the bank would be huge.

If this "ridiculous" 22 team conference brings home TV revenue, it's an easy yes.

Just a few days after New Year's Day. Tony showed a lot of Mean Green pride in God's Country. Tony truly is the one.

I think it's great. Like it or not, the kids eat these uniforms up, they love playing in stuff that looks like this. If you don't think uniform design is at least somewhere in some kids minds when they're figuring out where to go, you're fooling yourself.

Those signs made me giggle like a 7 year old when you put them behind RV.

So if the AD wanted to spend the money to get a video board, the school would tell them no?

I wouldn't mind paying the same price, but I'm just wondering if season ticket prices are going to go down with only 5 games and no premium games.
