    We’re pretty much the only school in the country that’s decided to not sell sideline gear to the fans. They cry poverty yet leave a lot of money on the table not selling nice gear to the fanbase.

    I agree. That’s why the networks have very little interest in our football product. Most of our home game broadcasts are produced by the athletic department. Why not take it up with them?

    We damn sure better be leading the conference for how much we pay the coach. The fact that we’re leading the conference, yet getting blown out by out of conference teams shows just how god awful CUSA is. It’s barely above 6A HSFB. People don’t give a crap about beating CUSA teams.

    It just isn’t that simple. The camera positions are on the press box side in every stadium in the country. It’s the network’s job to cover the game, not to be a PR arm of the university. Once again, the problem is bad football.

    No no no, can’t be true. I was told here that schools like MT and us could never compete with schools that have large NIL $$$. Simply not possible.

    Seth is lucky TX Southern was on the schedule this year. This team playing the 2015 Portland St team would be nothing close to an automatic win.

    Not a chance. Since we’re moving to the AAC next year, I don’t really give a crap about winning in the worst conference in the country. We’ve shown that we couldn’t compete in the AAC or MWC.

    Advanced?? He’ll be lucky to win 4 games in the worst conference in the country. This team will be lucky to win 2 games next season even with a new coach. We’ve regressed back to Todd Dodge territory.

    The broadcast the athletic department put out last night to the world is the perfect representation of what this place is all about.

    I have a pretty good feeling ESPN isn’t going to be happy with this level of production in the AAC.

    This game is being produced by the athletic department with people hired by the athletic department and equipment owned by the athletic department. You get what you pay for.

    They couldn’t be bothered to clean the lens on the game camera. There’s plenty of talented UNT alums working in sports TV production in this market, but you get what you pay for.
