So I guess Appalachian St gets the final at home due to the higher RPI of 130 compared to UNT’s of 176...that’s the only thing that makes sense to me! I wish we were playing at home!

Agree. We need a big crowd for this next one, Utah St. beat us earlier in the year at home by 17! Right now we’re sitting at 16-15 overall, 7-9 in conference finishing in 9th place. A win against USU next week would guarantee us a winning record for the year!

Make that 14 wins by run rule, OU wins 8-0. Still 16-10 record, not bad at this point! We need to focus our attention on La Tech and the stronger teams in our conference...which is right around the corner. #GMG

Rice very similar to our UNT women's soccer team, both #1 seeds & ranked #24 Nationally! I believe our women can pull off the upset, only down by 8 at the half! To be the best you have to beat the best! #GMG

Interesting move from Kent St not to go with their star pitcher...especially how she dominated us in the first game of the tournament! So for the people that think coaching doesn’t really matter here’s living proof! Our girls are going to run rule this backup pitcher!

Not sure if this is right or makes sense but I believe UNT 1-3 will play Kent St. 3-1 in the championship game tomorrow at noon and the two ranked teams ULL 3-1 will play Baylor 2-2 for the consolation game at 10am.

Nice to see our ladies get the split against ULL. They could have easily quit being down 0-3 in this tournament but kept on fighting! GMG

Who replaces our First Team All-Conference kicker Hedlund? That could be the difference between 2-3 wins! Surprised Vito did not have this in his Top 5.

Records mean very little without the ships! The only thing that matters is winning the regular season title, tournament title and going on to the NCAA’s! Pretty much what our women’s soccer program does every year! Let’s finish the season out strong! Go Mean Green MBB & WBB!

Weren’t we in this tournament last year? How did that experience go! It’s time for the NCAA Tournament and I’ll say the same thing to MBB!

I'm hearing this as well. Apparently the hold up is the KSU AD wants the hire to be the NDSU coach and Bill Snyder wants it to be his son! There is your real tug a war and yes the AD does have heavy ties into NDSU and their Head football coach. I believe the AD wins out and that will be KSU's head new football coach.

Our Conference champs Rice who we lost to in the semi final 3-1 just lost to Texas State 3-1 in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Was really hoping Rice was going to make a run...get some respect for our conference, maybe get two teams in next year! Not a good look for CUSA VB getting drilled by Texas State!

Noticed TCU and Texas Tech declined to play this year, infact looks like we’re the only Texas team to accept the invite. #60 WKU declined as well along with the rest of the conference but the biggest tournament hit was very few Power 5 schools.. only two.

Looks like CUSA champs Rice will be the only team representing the conference this year in the NCAA Tournament. With our RPI at 131, we have no chance...looks like its another pay to play NIT tournament for our team again this year! Hopefully someday we will get to play in the real post season tournament!

Congratulations on a great year ladies winning both CUSA championships and now dominating their sport with 7 CUSA titles! We're so proud! On advancing in the NCAA tournament, it's more about the draw then the direct system UNT plays. If you watch enough womens college soccer UNT, Baylor and Arkansas are identical with the way they play. Very direct, utilize their speed/ athletes and extremely physical...when you read alot of the coaches game quotes, most schools hate playing these three schools in particular and all three teams consistently lead in fouls/cards each year! Now the question is can you win in this tournament with a direct system? Yes... Baylor with a little luck last year went all the way to the Elite 8 and won the Big 12 this year and Arkansas won last night, although it was UALR but they have advanced in recent years. Arkansas also got to the SEC championship game the last two years. The only diference I see in these three programs is Baylor and Arkansas have more depth then UNT but hopefully with the new stadium Hedlund can build his depth instead of relying solely on his starters! Now as far as A&M, they get the best talent out of Texas every year (5 star recruits) Very silly to say the talent is the same because its not even close! Hedlund finds athletes with speed and fits them into his system to counter these national type players he cannot get. A&M was ranked as high as #3 in the country this year...that's the talent they have, if your read the box score, Emmitt Smith's daughter couldn't even get off the bench last night, that's how deep they're. So what our women did last night to almost steal a win against that team/environment was simply amazing and they should be commended not torn down! I believe this program will advance someday when they start hosting or their draw becomes more fair to their RPI...this year they got screwed and right now all the NCAA committee is doing is throwing us to the wolves!

Who cares, this is about winning and getting fair treatment from the committee! I believe Hedlund has beaten TCU the last two times they have played...now that should have been the first round matchup!
