The University of California-Berkeley and the University of California-Los Angeles have the same Board of Regents so they have the power over both universities. So they can do it but that doesn't necessarily that they will do it. We'll know next month of their decision.

Was that for the AFL and the NFL? Because Abner didn't play that many games in the NFL and he was in the twilight of his career when he played in the senior league as I recall. He was still the best running back/receiver to ever play pro ball that came from North Texas.

Put me in the group that thinks that we should/will have another coach next season. Seth should be examined on his body of work. In fact, I don't see him winning the conference championship and five years of bowls without a bowl win doesn't make this season look any better. Secondly, I put more faith in Wren Baker. Although he may not want to, he has the wisdom to see the big picture and know that it will require another coach to handle the stepped-up competition.

If anyone from North Texas deserved a nomination it should have been Patrick Cobbs.

I thought that they were just getting warmed up. They almost doubled their first half score in the second half. Seriously, if Jones and Perry don't return for the next game maybe we should just forfeit and blame Covid 19.

Jimbo says that he is assisted in play-calling with Darrell Dickey and Joe Coley, both Co-Offensive Coordinators. Darrell was a quarterback at Kansas State and I believe that he called the plays when he was at Memphis. I don't really know who called the plays when he was here.

While I'm sure that would have helped you another factor would have been to fire your high school coaches, especially on defense.

I believe that we are pursuing Division II players that put on tremendous growth since they graduated. Had they been their current size, they would have likely been 3-star athletes. I trust that these have been thoroughly scrutinized in the film room. It's also easier to get them to commit rather than vie with P5 teams.
